I believe the point of reach was to go back to the series roots with the health system and a few other things. But I do think Halo has done a pretty poor job with the evolved, not only has the series evoled little, but also Halo itself just took a bunch of elements that already existed.

Mario may have to die if only because you need two hands to count most of the games involving him.AncientDozer

COD and Guitar Hero. I used to love these franchises, but activition releasing the same thing every year really bothers me.

Kane and Lynch. I won't be surprised if there is a number 3 in development.

SW Battlefrnot is a franchise that needs to ressurect.

• Madden - Or at least the concept of a game a year, look it's the 7th generation of gaming, DLC is pretty much set it, and there are games out there way more advanced than Madden is that get way huger DLC files that Madden. You can't tell me that a roster update and adding new players would be anything to grueling and huge for madden, when we have other game developers giving who games, new mechanics, maps, guns, and characters in some DLC packs alone.
• Final Fantasy - Never cared much for it, has been going down hill since 10, and only people keeping it afloat are weeaboos.
• The Wii____ series - Ok Nintendo before you try another, please don't do it.
• Guitar Hero and Rockband - Don't kill it, maybe, but rest it for like a decade or a half of a decade and bring it back. Other than that, no over saturated and bad now.
• Tekken - This is a sad one for me, Tekken was one of my first playstation games and I remained a loyalist since up until Tekken 5. Tekken hasn't evolve since Tekken 3, adding new bland characters, and the music is terrible now, seriously the music was good on the PS1, not it's just bad over produced junk. And please, don't even bring out that movie. I would rather see a overhaul like what Midway is doing, kill out some old characters, bring in some new ones with some new move sets and new mechanics and you have a deal
• Tony Hawk - Skate is better

Mario, Halo, Zelda, Metal Gear, as long as they keep making good games, then they can stick around. Other than that, no, no need to have animosity towards good franchises as long as they stay good.

Sonic is an obvious one also, but I have too much hope in Sonic still actually. Maybe because I didn't play any Sonic game after Heroes(which I thought was bad) but I just wish they could recoup the team that worked on Adventure and it's sequel, and just go back to that. Seriously, just tighten it up a bit and bring in update graphics. Those seriously were not bad games.
