That is the most depressingly far reaching post I've ever seen, especially when the only good titles are Halo 4 and Alan Wake and the rest is all non exclusive, not due 2012, or on Kinect.

Sad year for MS, but I did enjoy Alan Wake so hopefully the next one can keep up the episodic DLC and keep my Xbox from gathering dust. I do hope the lack of support is because they have big plans for next gen and not just because of pushing Kinect and all the crap casual titles no one cares about (well, no one on here, who is a hardcore gamer).

How is it a sad year for microsoft? The games on their system, both multiplat and exclusive, will continue to be on the top of every videogame site's most popular list, even if there are better PC games out, like they have been for the past few years.

It has. I didn't buy a launch ps3. I picked it up in 09 when the slim was introduced. While it is unfortunate about the features that were removed, part of that was due in part to piracy and the Vita. But when it comes down to it, the ps3 still sticks to what sony claimed for the most part. Game support is there. Move, while not as great as they wanted it to be, still has some gems on the table. I'm assuming part of the move of ps2 bc to psn was that they want an intuitive connection between the vita and ps3. I like the idea of having an itunes like setup between the two, where I can drag and drop psx and ps2 games to the Vita.

I'm almost positive it was said it wouldn't be available at launch. It will play them though. Sony is potentially in a very good position. I actually agree with you, which is why I said potentially. Another gripe I have with Vita is its size. At the size they chose, they might as well have made it a tablet friendly sized screen. You're going to need a bag for it anyways, so why not.

Not practically, no. A good indication is that it's been tried 32 times a day over the past 3 or 4 years on this forum, and it's not convincing anybody. I have both systems and a PC, and the console exclusives are the least interesting games of the bunch usually.

As for me, I dont give a f*ck about PS3 (or this generation in general) anymore. Im ready for next gen. I'll wait around for the re-reveal of the Wii-U and see what its all about, and if its cheap/worth it i'll get it.
