You're half right.

But the game that won't have a effect on the 360 is MGS 4.

Gran Turismo is a bona fide system seller that sells millions of units and pushes consoles.   As does the FF series.

MGS sells well and probably does push some consoles, but is not on the same level as FF or GT is when it comes to millions of units sold.

I totally agree.  I'm very sick of sequels.  I really hope that Halo 3 is the last Halo.  Give me new games!  Every game that is being hyped on the PS3 is a sequel and that's sad.  Just my opinion, but we need new games and not the same thing over and over and over.

Never heard that term ever. "Halo like" is a lot more common among casuals, because most of my friends are casual gamers and that's what they refer it as.

2) Blue Dragon is selling really well in Japan, and over there is considered a system seller. Interesting that many former FF creaters worked on this one. Oblivion is already out, and in the US has received a LOT of attention for the 360. Yes it is out for the PC too, but for people who don't play PC games, this is THE next-gen RPG right now and perhaps for awhile. FFXIII may not even come out for another 2 years, which would be more then enough time for either the PS3 or Xbox360 to take a commanding lead, and possibly enough to get SquareEnix to jump platforms. (not very likely, but always a possibility)

3) Forza 2, only a few months away. GT4 was an exceptionally weak entry into the series. Hope they can get more done with GT5, but it's possible the GT series may have peaked.  Good luck seeing this game in 2007.  It may end up competing with Forza3.

Sony has absolutely no magic bullets to end the 360. It will take many different (read: way more then 3) factors to cause any trouble for the 360.

MGS3 didnt even sell half of what Halo 2 did , with a userbase that is 4 times bigger :?Thug_Pikachu
