360 Fans.. Getting nervous? 2008 around the corner.. No Killer APPS announced

HAHAHHA so NG2 in unproven title and Killzone which floped and sold horribly everywhere is a proven title? Things that make you go HHHHMmmmmmmmmm.

According to cows ps3 did alright in 2007 with games such as Lair, heavenly sword, warhawk but in 2008 360 wont do good with Halo wars, bonjo, NG2, alan awake, Huxley, Lost odessy, ect...

Huxley most likely won't see the 360 until 09. Why? It's just begining beta for PC, which it will be on far in advance to the 360. I'm waiting everyday now for my beta invite :P

It's an MMO, so I'm not so sure how well this will work on 360, as there will definately be a monthly fee.

PS3 in 2008 only has WKC as exclusive RPG, and that might well be in 2009, when 360 has Lost odyssey, Mass Effect, Fable 2, Elveon, Precurors, Cry On, Infinite Undiscovery etc etc

PS3 lineup for 2008 is a joke for my tastes, no confirmed RPG's, and mediocre for me games like KZ2 and MGS4, only LBP looks cool and i will definatly buy, nothing else

Just another note, Project Offset will be on PC first, most likely not releasing on 360 in 08. It's the next Crysis as far as selling GPU's is concerned. Nevertheless, it's going to look amazing, but probably won't be released for at least another year and a half. Now, maybe you are referring to Project Origin? That's coming in 08 for sure.

Now I know what most of you are going to say.. You are going to throw names at me like Lost Odyssey, Banjo, Alan Wake, Halo Wars,Ninja Gaiden 2 and Fable 2. Grant it those might be great games but you have to understand that half of those are unproven franchises while the other half are titles that wont appeal to the average casual..

So what will MS do to counter MGS4, Killzone 2, Little big planet and GT5?. Everyone knows that when MGS4 hits, IT WILL BE HUGE and OMG dont even get me started on Killzone 2, if that game turns out to be good it will OWN 2008. Another thing to keep in mind is the 36's popularity was built on online multiplayer games NONE of the exclusives announced so far for next year are multiplayer heavy.. bottom line is, if MS doesnt announce Gears of war 2 for 2008 or something extraordinary, then they have A LOT OF WORK TO DO!

Oh, so this is the mighty games all the casual players can play? I dont think that the casual gamer would pick up MGS4 or Kilzone2 and like it as mutch... Sure, they are great titles, but not casual... I dont say that Fabel2 is, or anny of the other, but dont use that as an exscuse.

What is silly is the people saying "oh yeah PS3 is getting good stuff soon, just wait." Ps3 owners... havn't you been saying that for a long time? Whyd o you think the pricetag for the PS3 dropped from 600 to 400 and a free movie within a year of its release? PS3 developers are not there yet apparently. You cant say "Well the Ps3 hasn't had enough time to put out their big games" because if you take your eyes to the wii which came out after the PS3, the wii has Zelda, Metroid Prime, SMG, and soon to be Super Smash Bros, probably before any PS3 game comes out.

Question: Why has Nintendo came out with so much good crap, and Sony cannot seem to get one good exclusive out. For 2008, cool maybe PS3 will finally have some good games and I can consider buying the system. Now the PS3 will domina... oh wait. The wii and the 360 will have equally good games in 2008.. oh. So that means.. if our xbox comes out with all the multi plats and exclusives and the wii comes out with all the ingenious nintendo first rate games, then we don't need a Ps3 to play 1-2 good games? This seems like a itty bitty problem for PS3.

Mass Effect will be the last biggest MS exclusive release for a good good while. So what does MS have in store for 2008?! Microsoft will be announcing XBOX 3 in the coming months... it's launching at the end of 08 with halo 4, and mass effect 2 and gear of wars 2 and MGS4 and ......
