The only trait they share is the name. Otherwise they're totally different games. So yes, GRAW does count as an exclusive AAA.

Since when do only AAA games count, can't AA, and A games be fun also???, Also why's it got to be exclusives??? I'm not going to buy a game cause it's multiplat???

My point is the 360 has tons of great games, and if you're a gamer you should already know this.

Hmm guess you missed the MS Press conference all together. It is coming to PC so it isn't exclusive as much as you like to spin it.

I guess you didn't read the fine print. I said it's "console exclusive" and the last time I checked, the PC wasn't a console. It's not out on the PC yet, so it's still exclusive at this point in time anyway.

I agree to a point. But Casey who thinks he only speaks facts disagrees so it's a lost cause. Yes this is system wars, and PC is a system. But many here just want to compare consoles as they have no interest in PC gaming (or don't really care to compare PC gaming to console gaming as the experience is quite a bit different and hard to directly compare). I wish they had a console wars forum, but they don't so we have to live with the hermits chiming in on topics that we really don't care to discuss at the moment.

But yes to most people there is such a thing as a CONSOLE Exclusive.

I don't get everyones infatuation with the "AAA" status of a game. I have been playing Shadowrun for months now and is one of my favorite games ever but itreviewed poorly here and almost every place else.If I enjoyed games based on what reviewers said I would have missed out on a awesome game and would be playing PD0 even though I did not like the game. But the reviewer did so good for him. Why do people need to be told what to play? That is thebeauty of this gen of gamming that you did not have in the past is you can now demo a game before you buy it and pay no attention to what a reviewer says, make up you're own mind don't let someone else tell you what you like.

No we all can't agree that Motorstorm is > PDZ. Motorstorm stinks and I would have scored it less than GS gave it. PDZ single player was so-so, but the multiplayer was a blast. R:FOM looks like it would be a fun game as well, but it released AFTER PDZ and standards change as time goes on.

Typically it's the console gamer that wants to eliminate it from discussion because it's impossible to have a sane logical discussion. At the same time PC is the cheapest platform AND the most powerful. So you'll have one person saying crysis owns all consoles and the next guy saying I can buy a PC cheaper than a 360 or PS3. BUT and its a bit but you can't buy a PCthat can do console level graphics(at the time I bought my console..at launch) for cheaper. Everyone knows PC will eventually catch up and pass consoles, but many just got tired or don't like the experience of upgrading, hackers, playing with a keyboard, etc...

And then you have to deal with thezealot hermit thatclaims you can use a controller if you like and that you never need to upgrade or install patches and hackers are no longer an issue. Or they'll claim hacking on Live is worse than PC hacking. So it gets old.PC is way more flexible than a fixed console. With that flexibility there are trade offs. Some like them some don't. It really is an apples to oranges comparison. Sure they both play games. But there are more differences than similarities in theexperiencefor most.

Among others. I just re-read your thread and did notice how you setup your argument so that they can't be refuted. but then assume they are facts. Many are facts as structured the way you did, but the overal statement is still debateable.

Just to illustrate a point "a new gaming pc will break your bank and you still have to spend hundreds of dollars on upgrades each year just to be able to play the newest games" Well the problem there is the way you couch that and say you can play MOST new games just fine. But you fail to mention you won't play it looking like the video shows. So if I wanted to play supreme commander on a mid-range computer...how would the game score? The PC that should be considered in System Wars is the same one used to review teh games. How ever much that PC costs is how much should be expected to be spent to get the same experience the reviewer had. Otherwise a PC game reviewed as 8.5 may be a 7.5 on my rig.

So, a AAA TPS version of a game that has different devs, a differeng engine, levels, characters, etc. etc. is the same as a A-rated PC FPS and a horrid PS2FPSThat's news to me. Well it does mean we don't know jack about the game. Will it be a port or a completely different game (like GRAW). Also will it be cancelled? But in the meantime the 360 owers have been playing it for quite a while. I think you'd have a point if the games were only exclusive for a couple of months. But if it's exclusive for over 1 year then by the time it releases on the other platform it really doesn't matter as it's old news.

If you don't own a next generation gaming system. If you don't own a godly PC. And you're in the market to buy ONE next generation system...

The Xbox 360 has a ton of AAAs and the Playstation 3 has a few AAAs too. That's just how I see it. If you're only going to buy one, and you're only going to be playing one system for a while, you got plenty of AAA 'exclusives' so to say.

GRAW is exclusive. It's quite different than the PC version.
