iPhone puts the 3DS to shame. 1MM3NS1TY
This is either a really bad joke or someone has never played a real game in thier life.

I don't see why it wouldn't :?[QUOTE="windsquid9000"][QUOTE="King_Dodongo"] Maybe he was talking about the PSP2. Now this is not gonna have BC. Zanoh
I would. UMD format flopped badly that Sony scrapped it save for games. PSP2 might use flash media or another sony made format.
A good chunk of the PSP's library is hosted on PSN. No UMD's needed for BC.[QUOTE="Zanoh"][QUOTE="windsquid9000"] I don't see why it wouldn't :?windsquid9000

The Go was a flop because it was download only. The Go was a flop because it was download only.

Not only that but it was more expensive than the PSP 3000.

The Go was a flop because it was download only.and region locked...depending on PSN. :/
Anyways back on topic: The 3DS must come out fast enough. >:3
Well, that's your problem. The Go's a great system regardless of its sales.I do not like PSN because of the fact it's region locked. The DS games are region free meaning I can play a Japanese game on my US DS. Why do you think the PSP Go was a flop to begin with?

And it just happens to do a lot more a lot than the 3000. Funny how that works :PNot only that but it was more expensive than the PSP 3000.

like....hooking your PSP Go to your TV so you can see it on a Bigger Screen?

What's the point of it being a Handheld then?
The problem, squid, among the ones already explained, is that PSN doesn't have many games (BBS etc). Many people will complain (quote me) about it not having BC. King_DodongoI'm aware that it doesn't have all games, but it has enough that one could be satisfied by its selection. I've only bought 3 UMDs since I got a PSP.

All models can do that. I listed most of the upgrades above.[QUOTE="Cherokee_Jack"][QUOTE="windsquid9000"]And it just happens to do a lot more a lot than the 3000. It doesn't.The Flatter the Better right?PS3 controller.....on a PSP Go.....That doesn't make the PSP Go "better".

Higher DPI, better contrast, and better resistance to glare = better. They're higher quality, more expensive buttons that lack a structural flaw that the other models have.Your point? Also, you seem to have ignored that you can pair it with a wireless headset or go on line anywhere via a bluetooth enabled phone.Doesn't make it worse either. It's a great deal if you want any of those games.[QUOTE="LegatoSkyheart"]

These are a few minor improvements, the sort of thing that would be expected in a new model of PSP regardless (and since it's a DL-only system, it had damn well better have a lot of flash memory...) They don't justify a $50 price increase at launch, and frankly the PSP Go was enough of a gamble already without charging a premium to early adopters.[QUOTE="windsquid9000"]Higher DPI, better contrast, and better resistance to glare = better. They're higher quality, more expensive buttons that lack a structural flaw that the other models have.Your point? If this was true then the PSP Go wouldn't have failed.

The Go's failure was about more than price/value. It was never a good idea to launch a DD-only SKU in the middle of the system's life cycle.
[QUOTE="jasonharris48"]Even if it is...I would so pay it Agreed. Will be too epic of a console to not pick up on release xD haha my thoughts anyway.Theres a chance that the 3DS might not even be $300 bucks outside of Japan.

Happy?A. PSP Go is not the topic here, the 3DS and Layton vs PW is.
Looks like it could be interesting, but it's not my type of game.
B. I wouldn't argue with windsquid9000 since he couldn't debunk the region locked PSN contributing to PSP Go's failure reason I gave earlier.
I don't see what that has to do with anything. It may have contributed to it's failure, but I don't see it as one of the main factors.

So you'd buy a 3DS over a PS3...themyth01Who would? The topic creator? He already owns a PS3 according to his signature.
oh yeah Im getting it :D unless my parents done let me... (my dad believes the world is going to end in may anyway...)
Uh, no. 300 Dollars. Not WORTH IT.
No portable is worth 300 bucks. Sorry, but unless I grab a used PSP, I think I'll stick with consoles for now. Besides, Nintendo's too casual these days to warrant buying a new system from them.
MathMattS
3DS > PSP mate. It's already got more games for it since it has backwards compatibility with DS games, a GBC/A Virtual Console, and upcoming 3DS games with titles like this. And for the record Nintendo is not kiddy. I'd be surprised if you never played Layton let alone Phoenix Wright. -.0
And the PSP was $250 at launch. I found it worth it.
So you'd buy a 3DS over a PS3...themyth01
Since I own a 60GB PS3, I do not get your logic. If I didn't have a PS3, Would I choose the 3DS over it? Two different concepts man. One is portable, and one is a stay at home console. I'd chose portable, but then again it also depends on which model PS3 we are talking about. If it is anything other than the 60 GB model, 3DS.
Who would? The topic creator? He already owns a PS3 according to his signature.Cherokee_Jack
What this man said. ^.^
defenitely worth it!AbusedMajesty$300 for a handheld? I'll pass. Rather upgrade my PC...or buy a console
