What looks more attractive to you? If you had this money to blow and you have alway been a single player kinda guy but are looking to try out multiplayer what would you buy?

Having played Mirrors Edge and I've already got L4D2. I'd with a new case, CPU cooler, HDD and a ATI 5770.

i'm not quite sure what you said there.. but PC stuff is not in my mind. I'm either gettin the green stuff or red stuff.. whihc loooks better for the now & long run?Shatin

I'm pretty sure you can't play online on the 360 Arcade, so you don't need that wireless adaptor. Someone, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Wow that is an expensive hook.....um.....I say get a Playstation 3.

EDIT: If you do go the Xbox 360 route don't spend $100 on the Xbox 360 wireless adapter, find it for close to 50% off at Amazon.

Also don't buy Mirrors Edge, just rent it, trust me you will thank me latter.

PS3 more reliable. 360 arcades are notorious for RRoD. Get the PS3. You also forgot to put $50 for xlive on the green side and PSN is free.

Why not put the elite bundle on the 360 side, it would make a hell of a lot more sense. Better games all around.

Would I be correct in assuming this isn't for you? Looking at your games list, it would appear you already have an Xbox 360. Regardless, the PS3 list is looking a little better than the 360 list since you have three games up against one. You're getting some nice single player games and Uncharted 2 has some multiplayer, so whoever this is for can give that a shot. Left 4 Dead 2 is really a co-op/multiplayer game only. Playing alone with bots....it just doesn't work well. -_-

Yeah, I agree with this.

Gotta go with PS3 on this one. Not having to buy a wireless adapter and getting Mirror's Edge and Uncharted > the other deal.

PS3 easily, I would reccomend other games tho, ME is short I hear, like rental short, and I wouldn't get Uncharted 1 just cause your getting 2, I'd go for more variety. Either way PS3.

I already have 360 & Wii but I'm really tempted by the PS3 slim with Infamous & KZ2 ( I think ) + B.R. Batman movie, all for 299.99. If WM runs that again and even tho I haven't that much time for gaming, I'm gonna need to snag that deal me thinks.

Also do you really need wifi? Its not that great for gaming over the web or a LAN.

It's really not going to be a very different experience either way. I'm going to suggest the PS3, and also suggest that you add on Killzone 2 for a great mix of SP and MP, and Dead Space for excellent SP. Both can be had fairly cheap.

Also, see if you can get a Battlefield: Bad Company 2 beta key. Better than Modern Warfare 2, IMO.

plus all the extra susceptibility of its' signal. Almost impossible to be better than a wire unless you're in a car?

Anyways, if the adapter is that important if you want 360, just get the PS3 stuff for the better value.
