No lol.
Alan Wake isn't even the best looking game on 360.

I'd say in places it surpasses the competition....flare gun ftwNo lol.

Chutebox
when you say something like "next gen dynamic volumetric lighting" you automatically lose. Brainkiller05Saolin has always been known to throw in the exact same words to describe a 360 game. Vastly, next gen dynamic volumetric lighting, textures, size, foilage, leaves, non-linear, etc etc etc.

[QUOTE="Arach666"]No,Alan Wake looks good but not as good as Uncharted 2.MajorGamer531
How so, when in most aspects like scale, foliage and lighting, Uncharted 2is so far behind ?
Well, i would like some expaination and comment on my post, a well backed up opinion, that is
Foliage? Did you really list foliage? And no Alan Wake's lighting is not better, they are pretty much the same.
UC2 has way higher res and far more detailed environmental texturing.
Yes, why ? Because Uncharted 2 has nearly none, and what it has looks plastic, should never be mentioned ?
I mean you would not mention foliage as a Crysis perk ? Really ?

Interesting since you ignore alan wakes blurry, low res, poorly animated gameplay but boast it's lighting and foliage and claim ownage.[QUOTE="theseekar"][QUOTE="MajorGamer531"]

Interesting since you ignore alan wakes blurry, low res, poorly animated gameplay but boast it's lighting and foliage and claim ownage.Yes, i like the best lighting, scale and real forests more than just crisper resolution and textures, but with vastly smaller places like coriddors, no dynamic volumetric lgithing and almost zero foliage and no real forests at all
As i have already said, none of these games can be called graphics king, simply because both have ups and downs, and is up to each of us decide what is more important
For me Alan Wake perks are the most important by far and i like the art a lot better too

You clearly havent played uncharted 2This is getting anoying. Uncharted 2 is far more open then corridors (village lvs anyone). The only ppl who claim this havent played. Also Kevin-v Already commented in sw saying alan wakes graphics were mehRespawn-d

Ok then, post a Uncharted 2 video that shows a PLAYABLE area more open and big then the below
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOBN04saU4I&feature=related- (after 1:30 minute)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAM_gx5qH8g&feature=related
Lets see who has played both games, and who has not
You dont understand how big and open AW is or how detailed and thick forests are, that is why you think my U2 comments are off
Well, watch the videos above and post one from U2 then, not on rails, actual playable and walkable / explorable areas, not running on a rail with a train for exmaple

If you u don't know about the villages in UC2 you simply haven't played the game.Yes, i know, but that is not a big open area, again you walk in tiny paths, and see only a tiny portion of the thing at once
Plus the scale is not even close to AW biggest places
TC you are the only one saying this. AW is a great looking game but it doesn't look better than Uncharted 2. You sound like a broken record in your comments going on about foliage. I'll take better textures, animations, physics, and character models over volumetric lighting and foliage any day. This reminds me of the one time pansola tried to argue that bc MW2 looks slightly better on 360 and using one line in a GT's review about level detail that MW2 looks better than KZ2 and Uncharted 2 and that therefore 360 has graphics king is oh so powerful and it went on for pages and everyone just laughed at him. Is that you in there pansola?

I would definitely not say poor, since I played both back to back, but UC2's is better.
