Alpha Protocol Flops! 6.0 @ GS

I saw the trailer and could somehow tell that it would not be a good game. It just had that vibe to it. :?

Tbh the reason I hated on Supernatural is because I thought it'd be a straight horror series. It turned out to be some hip pop culture thing. Imma tackle it again with that frame of mind, don't you worry.

I favorite episode of Supernatural has always been the very first. The woman in white I believe was the spirit they were hunting that episode. Never got into the later ones. The last episode I saw was the one about the bully spirit from when Sam and Dean went to high(?) school. I still crack up at random times when I think about "dodgeball." Are there any good episodes after that? You got my curiosity going again for that series.

um I think it is reviewed but they released it out to earlier.

That is what it said before the craziness begin. Might be another Prince of persia moment, might be a gamespot mistake. We will see.

score taken down and where is the review?

This makes me incredibly sad.... I'll admit that my level of excitement dropped after the last delay, but I was still hoping for an 8.0, Kinda the poor mans Mass Effect... Just sad. Im still gonna get it though.

Lol at the 100000 users in this post who didn't get that the score WAS a glitch...

i doubt it was a glitch. the heading for the review was pretty negative so im pretty certain the score won't change.

I too myself am not convinced that it was simply a glitch. If it was merely the score like (modnation) then I would believe it but the tagline seemed to fit with a 6 score.

Right now I'm just hoping this is one of the few times I disagree with GS (namely Kevin V) just like the Assassins Creed review or R&C FToD review.

Every game they have made has been a clumsy mess pile in which they suffer from numerous bugs and beign unfinished.. KOTOR 2 was notorious for having broken quests, bugs bugs bugs.. One of the WORSE endings of all time.. And things that were completely cut out of it.. There are people to this day that can't play the PC version due to bugs (Obsidian promised a patch, but people are still waiting for it..)

Fast forward to Neverwinter Nights 2.. There were numerous game breaking bugs when it was released.. And it was one of the most inoptemized pieces of crap I had ever seen when it released.. It literally brought all systems down on their knees performance wise, even though it only looked marginally better then Guild Wars.

the problem with obsidian is that they're the most technically incompetent studio out there their games are ugly, unfinished, buggy messes and theit engines suck at the same time they are amazing storytellers and world builders. such a shamebenbeckman

I was hoping it would do better, but honestly having seen gameplay of it and knowing Obsidan I knew it didn't have much hope. Oh well.

yeah, Ive heard from people that have it that its deffinetly an old school RPG, you cant max out every single skill and you can pretty much avoid combat in the game entirely if you want to, which I probably will.

The review was up. The score might be different (Which would be extremely suspicious, as if it isn't already), but the review should be more or less the same.

When I called AP a super sleeper I was referring to it's effect on reviewers - apparently it put them to sleep. :P

Anyway, I guess the score could go up once we officially umm see the real GS score. :o

As chance would have it, Alpha Protocol just arrived in the post. Time to see if it's terrible.
