Agreed. Everything in Gears of War 2 is improved over Gears of War 1, which is an impressive feat because GoW1 is still one of the best looking games to this day.

I disagree, gears 2 may have superior textures and decent physics but that's about it. Killzone 2 has better effects such as lighting and particle effects. And also better animations, at least IMO...

If Gears 2 has the story and new gameplay elements that Epic is hinting about, it has a very good chance at GOTY. I don't see MGS4 getting GOTY since its such a niche product that only really has AAAA appeal to hardcore fans.

It's sad to see xbots post touched up pictures of the game, I've seen the game in motion and all in HD and it's not as smooth as these pictures... Haven't you guys seen the previous shots that had jaggies up the @ss? :shock:

I'm not even saying GeoW 2 looks bad because that game looks god damn good! But nowhere near the quality in these pictures, only xbots who's eyes are blind will tell you otherwise.

yeah, it may look good but it's the Ureal engine. if you use it on any console it will always look the same. UT3 used it, and it looked exactly like Gears. Guerilla games developed an entirely new engine from the ground up for KZ2 and it looks amazing. I'm pretty sure most people will agree.Oh and to those who call it "Blurzone 2," you guys are idiots. I'm testing the beta right now and it looks phenomenal. I'll admit that Gears is a good looking game and probably the best for the 360, but KZ2 will rise to the top as far as graphics are concerned. I guess it helps that it plays extremely well also. And just a reminder, KZ2 is in a pre-Alpha stage. It doesn't even launch until February.

i'm sorry, but KZ and MGS have insanely bad stories as well. i'm not saying gears was as bad as you think it is, but you have to put things in perspective. the fact of the matter is next to NO games have great stories. that's why game movies are always B at best... gaming is not the place to turn for excellent stories.

Far Cry 2, Crysis, Crysis Warhead, and Killzone 2 say no.

Game still looks outstanding though in so many ways graphically.

KZ2 seems to have a grittier look and I like it.

Graphics king? I was just playing Uncharted: Drakes fortune and it looks better than this.

Killzone 2 will look even better than Uncharted forget about Gears of war 2 aka Gears of war 1.5, it could be the graphics king of the Xbox 360, but compared to PS3 games it is nothing.

KillZone 2 doesnt even look like that.

Gears of War 2 does have the best graphics on 360 but Killzone 2 still blows it away, the beta had better graphics then Gears of War 2 does now. andyes i was in the beta got full rank and everything, it looks better, and dont get me wrong i love Gears of War 2, one of my all time favorite games. thats the only reason i play 360, but K2 still looks better.
