e6600 is a good cpu notice computers sold out since i made the thread was in stock when i posted it.

But an 8800 GTS GPU is not. especially to play Crysis 2 with Dx11

I have a 8800 GT 512 mb and a 8600 GTS 256 mb

both run crysis 2 better than consoles.

i had a geforce 560ti 1gb and performance wasnt as good as i expected with anti aliasing so i took the piece of **** back.

Even though those PC games look better than UC3, all UC3 has mainly is art direction and is a technical beast for console standards, but tech graphics isn't all about how much crap you can do, it's about looking the best in every area(shadows, characters, lighting, textures, particle effects, etc.) while doing a lot, and that's what these PC games do.

My system is a 560Ti and a phenom 955 BE. The GPU is not crap as you say because it lets me almost max the newest games at 60 fps. The thing is a beast and any GPU reviewing site can show you charts and numbers. My system isn't even all that powerful but it does the job. far more capable than yours.Also no one in their right mind would return a 560 if they had it. Its a lot stronger than your GPU

But that's all irrelevant because you had the audacity to come here and slam and bash Crysis 2 for having crap textures and all that stuff but yet you can't even max the game at 1080 (which you need to appreciate the detail in HD textures). How can you openly bash something that you can't even see in full glory? better yet how the hell could you compare it to DNF.

Dx11 is far from a gimmick. In most cases it runs better in Dx11. take Metro 2033 for example. Turn off the tesselation and DOF and you have the same look as Dx9 or 10 but with the added performance boost of Dx11.

crysis 2 is a goddamn ps3/360 dx9 game with tacked on dx11 effects that dont even improve graphics they barly used tessellation because modern gpus cant handle a game with tons of it.

Warhead's outdoors still look good. But, its indoors are getting dated, perhaps even worse than the original Crysis. In some instances Warhead's indoors barely look better than the first Far Cry's. Oh. I was trying to remember where I saw a fan casting shadows on the floor below. There's one in Warhead, bottom image. :lol:
