you dont need anything more powerful to run these crappy multiplat console games on the computer these days.

crysis remastered is proof computer ports>>>multiplat console ports.

Crysis 2 may have more shiny textures but it pales compared to games like Dark Souls or Uncharted 3 in terms of overall visual design and animations. I feel pity at PC gamers who are cheering for a medicore shooter game like Crysis 2, since its the only game that leverage the power of their $500 video cards. To bad butDark Souls (9.5), UC3(9.0) > Crysis 2 (8.5). Just saying:P

It's scary how ugly C1 can be when you turn down settings. I played it before on low just to see and my god. It looked so extremely bad.

I think those rock textures are new. Should've redone the apple textures though. They're really hidious.

there is a rock texture mod for the PC version, been out since 2007

Crysis 1 on consoles is modded, so its more fair to compare it against modded Crysis, not that you need to anyway, vanilla Crysis in High settings looks miles better

Crysis 2 looks decent on low settings. Highest configuration is pretty much the best the industry has to offer.
