my point: isnt it more of a technical achievement for Gears 2 to have all that stuff going on on-screen, plus the effects and textures, that run off the disk with no installation than giving it to a game that has comparable graphics but installs every 'chapter'?

OK I know you must be joking here. Even after playing other big titles MGS4 is still my GOTY.

And GS's credibility takes another hit.Giving GOTY to a melodramamatic movie.

GeoW2 or GTA4 are more deserving winners.

Gears of War 2 is more critically acclaimed than Metal Gear Solid 4. Face it. I'm not telling you that it's a better game, because I think MGS4 is. Oh, and GTA IV trumps MGS4, in my opinion. Definitely.

it deserves being goty for a lot of reasons, one of them being able to combine gameplay and story telling so well, you know what I'm talking about if you played chapter 4. Oh and all the haters owned and reowned lol, calling this game a movie and trying to make it seem mediocre when it isn't just shows you what fanboys are willing to do when they have different consoles and can't enjoy this masterpiece. As soon as one guy said the game wasn't for him then you see all the fanboys bandwagon as well loledo-tensei
