ratings mean nothing to me...the game was amazing technically and gameplay wise...but the environment and characters were just so extremely blah

sadly KZ3 looks more of the same...great gameplay, but just drab looking

I'm not even sure why people are getting so upset about this. It's only an E3 award, doesn't mean that much. Scribblenauts won last year and look what happened to it. Not saying the same thing will happen to KZ3, just saying these things don't mean that much in the end.

Would have been nice if people who weren't familiar with most of the nominees refrained from voting. I feel like a lot of good games had no chance because mostof the casuals voted CoD, Haloor Killzone.

See, that's what I'm talking about. This guy is a real gamer. There were a LOT of good games at E3, so opinions will be all over the place. Getting indignant that KZ3 won as if it was just nowhere near good enough need to have their inner fanboy examined.

tis all i needed...like i said, the environment is drab as are the characters...i just couldn't continue, if the world doesn't grab me i don't want to continue, simple as that

i watched what i missed on youtube of course, to see if it got better and no, it did not get better...the characters were still as plain as they were from the first two missions

Fair enough. It looks pretty interesting but imo it would be hard to choose between it, Rage, gears3, Crysis2, Halo Reach, Bulletstorm, etc
