Like I said, you haven't played Killzone 2, you gave the game 30min to pass a verdict on it.

tis all i needed...like i said, the environment is drab as are the characters...i just couldn't continue, if the world doesn't grab me i don't want to continue, simple as that

i watched what i missed on youtube of course, to see if it got better and no, it did not get better...the characters were still as plain as they were from the first two missions

It means there are possibly more Cows, it's impossible to interpret how many, and if there were so many wouldn't they have transferred over to the PS3? Way too many variables to make such an assertion.

Of course owning more than one console doesn't make you a fanboy. Either way though, you can't just take such a ridiculously high number and assume how many are Cows.

I had two games that stole the show for me. One being Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, the other being Dead Space 2. KZ3 is looking great, though. I can't argue with it.

Yeah, I disagree, but I understand if the readers thought that it was best.

Myself, I thought that Reach was the best game of the show, but only because of Space Battles and Firefight, and that I am a big Halo fan.

But I have to say, the award was about what looked best at the show, and Killzone 3 was one of the best.

The best thing about the people who are saying that they would not pick KZ3 is the fact that they don't actually get to pick.

I definitely understand if some people didn't think that KZ3 deserved it, but I find it funny that some of those same people think that Gears 3 or Skyward Sword deserved it more. Gears 3 did not have the "wow factor" that its predecessors had. It felt like more of what we've seen before only with more tentacles. That doesn't make it bad or anything, but if a game demonstration wants to win E3, it has to actually surprise the audience in some fashion. And Zelda showed off some of the clumsiest motion mechanics I've ever seen in any E3.nervmeister

But here it won, I think it deserved it and apparently so does Gamespot users and editors(won best PS3 game and shooter) so I'm pretty much done wondering for the day.

Killzone 3 is really Killzone 2.5 in 3D and motion controller support.

Wouldn't rate it in the top #5 (at least) personally, but not surprised it won at all. Whether or not it was deserving enough isn't up to me, but you could have grabbed a black & white side scroller with stick figures, & had it have been the only PS3 exclusive it would have had a good shot.
