- Sony must allow for end-user modification of the PS3, as was available prior to the 3.21 firmware update.
- Sony must end any attempts to bring legal action to alter a product they own.
- Sony must not pursue legal action against any collected IP address.
Reasonable? Silly? Justified?
I actually think I agree with what they are saying. Note there is no mention of GeoHot, they just seem to want to protect other hackers. I don't agree with their method and their view of us as "collateral damage" but how else will they be heard?
What do you think of this whole Consumer Rights issue? Do you think they are right? Do you think that Sony is wrong?
