As for a PC version, has there been any news about EA's planned buyout of Take-Two, Rockstar's parent company? Since EA started in the PC sphere and still gets a lot of business from it, I would think they'd be interested in a PC version as well, whether Rockstar itself is interested or not.

Its worse then that.. The EA games like Madden and NBA most times are REHASHS with little improvement.. Who cares about them.. Though GTAIV is a blow I doubt that this is true or fact.. Every single GTA game has been released on the PC... INfact you can get it on steam right now.

Had a friend show me on a private torrent site he uses GTA IV NTCS 1261 seeders 270 peers, GTA IV PAL 1408 seeders, 89 peers - this afternoon.

I cant link the site (requires a login apparantly), nor can i post its adress - my eyes certainly didnt deceive me.
Also he is one of those PAL peers, though vowed I to stay away - im waiting unitil tuesday for my pre ordered copy. Heck I got over the piracy fad ages ago.

Oh and that is ONE private tracker. Now factor in how many private trackers there are out there, and how massivley popular some are....

I honestly cant beleive the denial from some of you lemmings, the Piracy for GTA4 was no doubt going to be large on 360/PC , not quite the PS3 yet seeing as its relativly safe.

There are other, faster methods of getting it than Torrents, though I for obvious reasons cannot mention them, and then you have the possibility of a few downloads being mass piracy distributors.

i can think of plenty other bad things about pc gaming from personal experience. i used to be a diablo 2 / counterstrike addict but i put up with the aggravations of pc gaming because at the time it offered the only online games. starcraft2 is a little tempting though...
