Anyone else find the Gears 2 Vid a bit "underwhelming"

By no means am I saying it looks bad, on the contrarey I found the Visuals were great. ITs jsut, I expected to see something that looked much better than Gears 1, adn I really didnt see that. Yes, it was improved by quit a bit, but it wasnt like Gears 1 graphics times 5 or anything liek that. THe animations were very good though and all those Locusts looked great. Im just saying it isnt the best ive seen this gen. Of course, Nov. is still a ways off.

I definately enjoyed he Gears2 video (mind you am a PS3 fan).. wasnt expecting graphics tobe 5 times better than Gears1... its like us Ps3 owners expecting Uncharted 2 looking 10 times better than its prequel... due to non upgadable hardware for consoles its simply not possible...

A slight improvement for gears2 visuals over Gears1 is already good keeping in mind gears1 looked great... What i did find a bit underwhelming is the video shown was ok filled with action, but that action consisted mainly of scripted stuff.... seemed like the real action was taking place ONLY on the vehicle Marcus was on....

It's pretty much what I expected from GeoW2.. it's using basically the same engine with some improvements as GeoW1, so graphically the improvements should not be huge. Gameplay basically remained unchanged, which I think is a good thing. I'm disappointed w/ that 'chainsaw battle' if that's what it was because it was only button mashing (hoped for prescripted full on action sequences). That hostage move seems pretty interesting, but I don't think there will be a real practical use for it in higher difficulties, multiplayer will be more interesting though but I don't expect that happening to a lot of teams. It was good seeing all those locusts running on the ground, so now here's me hoping that there will be a large scale battlefield with allies and locusts going all out without being mindless drones.
