Never been a hardcore Fallout fan, but I played both. Still gonna get this one for PC 'cause modding community will hopefully repair and improve everything Bethesda screws-up.
Fallout 3 looks to be a AAA quality game from every hands-on preview i've read. I think you're a tool if you've jumped on the bandwagon of saying, "its different so it crap". Unless you played it at PAX or something and have first hand experience, you can't pass judgement. Or you should at least admit that your judement on the quality of gameplay isn't based on having actually played the game and discredit virtually 100% of people who have played the game... which begs the question: what on earth are you basing your opinions off of? Anything logical or just the baseless bandwagon?

cmon ppl you cant expect a franchise to be the same that you played 20 years ago, we are talking about new ppl who just care about how many gore a game has, you need to "evolve" IMO

i think people who think bethsoft cant do any wrong,are just as big of tools as people who blindly hate this game.
as for me..i'm over the fact thats its been dumbed down for the halotards..it is what it is.when it comes out.i'll play it,if its good,then its good,if it sucks,then whatever,i'll trade it in.

Not really. There are numerous previewers (mostly European) who dislike certain aspects of the game.

If we're criticising it "based off of nothing", then you're praising it "based off of nothing". Just because some previewers are ready to declare it as "Game of the Year", it doesn't give strength to your argument. It's the same as hiding behind review scores to justify your love of a certain game.

A preview is supposed to make people want to play the game and it can also keep people from buying it. ;) Also, appealing to an authority is a logical fallacy.

No, and I've never played Fallout or Fallout 2 and never cared that I haven't, noone should have to be attacked for buying and enjoying a game, regardless of what it is. It's not your right to tell people what a game they enjoy is or is not. They are allowed to make a decision for themselves, over wether it is good or bad, or even of the same quality as the original, you communists.
