I cant count how many girls have played it in parties, i know one girl just bought a ps3 for it, and she hates gaming all together.

My girlfriend despises as video games as well,but loves little big planet so much,she wants me to make a PS3 account for her to play it,not to mention,like myself,she's a total art*** that digs the fact that LBP requires you to be abstract,creative,and overall have an imagination. :)

Re5 is another good sit down with girl to play with, if she can stomach the zombies and shooting.

yes, i am. i feel weird when i'm going into gamestop just knowing that all of these people are most likely virgins. sometimes i talk to girls in my class and i tell them i play video games they are like o and stair in a different direction. they usually are like what do u do for fun?

As an expert on women...NEVER mention "video games" until they share their opinion first. They just don't get em. Like we don't get "shopping" Men don't do "shopping" we "Buy **** is a huge difference.

This is an interesting topic but many of the posters seem to be in denial. I don't care if you are nerd or rockstar. Women don't really get into video games. I not saying they do not play. But as a group they are not big on it.

well there was one time me and my friend were going to EBgames to get mario kart wii (ugh),an we met this girl on the way,shes like ok ill go with you guys,then we go in,picked up da game,an she looks at us and says we have no lives,we just LOLed at her payed and annoyed da crap outta her,lol pretty fun

but in general no,im not ashamed,except when the "nintendo is for kids" sterotype comes along,like my dad,they get me angry >=[

yeah LBP and braid are the two best platformers this gen so far...

I don't care if someone wants to bash Halo3,Killzone2,Mgs4,Geow series.whatever....to each their own.however, if someone says they hate LBP,they should be banned from video games,considering the fact that the game represents why all of us even got into gaming in the first place:to have FUN.

and my girlfriend loves zombies.she's loaded with nothing but gory B-grade zombie flicks.

I am not embarrassed to buy games or anything but I don't really like to talk about gaming or games in public because it makes me feel like a geek. Just today in a webmaster class I am taking we had to come up with a topic for our final webpage assignment. Most people in the class are doing things like their favorite bands or photography and I would like to do one about a favorite game of mine but when the teacher asked me what I was going to do I just went with a band.
