Assassin's Creed Unity is the seventh major installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise. In this game, you take control of a guy who takes control of another guy named Arno who lives in Revolutionary Paris. In Unity, you will encounter numerous historical figures from the French Revolution including Napoleon, Marquis de Sade, and Robespierre.

Unity sees Arno on his plot seeking justice and redemption, eventually joining the ranks of the Assassins. Arno will have access to a myriad of weaponry including: swords, spears, axes, guns, and of course the Dual Hidden Blades.

The city of Paris is fully open to the player, allowing seamless transitions from the city streets, to the interior of buildings, to the rooftops as Arno stalks his prey. The city of Paris is the largest city of any Assassin's Creed game at 50% larger than the Frontier for AC3.

Multiplayer? Sacré bleu!

For the first time in an Assassin's Creed game, you and four other friends will be able to roam the open world. In ACU, you will be able to take on cooperative missions with your friends, including heists (suck it Rockstar). Each player will be able to customize their Assassin with unique abilities and outfits.

I feel like something will be off with this game. I haven't been following too much, and hopefully I'm wrong as I really enjoy the series and want to see it continue to do really well.

I'm guessing AA. Probably nothing amazing, but would be a solid game nevetheless.

At the same time, I'm not getting it because it's going to be a waste of money and data when it performs like ass on my mid range PC.

@inb4uall: Ubisoft literally experiments more and tries new IPs more than any other AAA publisher on the market. For every Assassin's Creed rip-off that they put out, they put out a Child of Light, or a Valiant Hearts, or a Rayman Legends. Really, Ubisoft should be the last AAA publisher you should be directing your ire towards.

**** this game and ubisoft. With all their bullshit about 30 fps should be the industry standard and 1080 doesn't matter they've shown they are happy to let he industry stagnate. If they were doing innovative things with their games like say nintendo I could forgive this but they have even admitted to not making games that aren't able to be turned into a franchise (something they can rehash). I was going to buy Far Cry 4 near launch. Now I will wait until it is $5 on a steam sale if I buy it all. And realisitcally it's not going to matter. I have AC 2 and FC 3 on Steam. If I pick up rayman origins I can go without ever buying another Ubisoft game again because they barely ever add anything new and interesting to their games.

AA, franchise has gone downhill since 3. Still fun games though.

I hope it scores a 9 as I love the AC franchise, but I need a break from it as well. Loved Black Flag, but it was largely more of the same. Which isn't a bad thing. I am intrigued by the co-op free roaming though.

AA - have an xb1 and ps4 but getting this for my PC. First game to really benchmark my new GTX 970.(will be running 1440p in December).

It's hard to call given the randomness of GS review scores in recent months but with this being an annual franchise they'll likely score it favourably, so 8/10 AA

Personally, I'm a fan! God only knows why but I am so for me I'm hoping for 9/10 AAA

Not sure how to feel about this one, sounds really good but then so did AC3 and that was probably last gens biggest disappointment for me.

I'm expecting AA. I'm excited for this game and hope there's nothing unexpectedly wrong with it. All the changes and improvements they are touting are exactly what the series needs. An historical open world stealth game is far too good a premise for a game. I want them to nail this.
