That's history and now we all know that tune MS was singing changed and Quntum Break is day 1 on PC, but that list didn't include Gears 4.

The two biggest games that would have any hype for wanting to buy a xbox one outside of Quantum Break are all but "officially" confirmed for PC,ReCore was already officially announed for PC and this list also includes Crackdown 3 so we know these games are all the ones MS are preparing for PC but haven't officially announced.

So there lies my question, is there any reason to buy xbox one this year or going forward from this point on? Seriously?

Maybe someone can make an argument for Forza that not even xbox fans care to buy?

Halo. I only played the first Halo and would like to play the rest. Not enough to buy an Xbone but it does occasionally cross my mind. It needs to be super cheap.

For someone like me that doesn't have a gaming PC, yeah it's worth owning. I also like the X1 library better than PS4s. The other problem is games like QB, Scalebound, Gears 4, Cuphead etc will never come to PS4, so PS4 only owners are the ones who lose.

There are plenty of PS4 games not going to Xbox so nobody really looses. Just pick what you like.

Buying any console this gen has been a tough sell, but Xbone was certainly far at the bottom of the list, which is why it's the only one I don't own.

Yes, my thread title says "at this point" because of the information that has been revealed. Pretty simple to figure that out for most people but then some people are kind of thick.

You asked if there is a point in owning a PS4 at this point which was a dumb question because all the PS4 exclusives revealed to this point are STILL PS4 exclusives, so yeah!

MS did infact list that Gears 4 was coming to PC along side Quantum Break at first and then had everyone retract that information from sources shortly after. why don't you address that info instead of damage controlling who brought it up? I thought about that, alot of times my g/f wants to use the tv, or I want to relax on the couch and play Xbox so I can be more social with her instead of locked in a room upstairs with headphones on, I get the best of both worlds with QB being on both and sharing saves.

If you don't own a gaming pc, there absolutely is. Last time I checked, I still can't buy Quantum Break on my PS4. If you own a gaming pc, Playstation and Xbox are both for the most part redundant. Only console really worth owning along with a gaming pc is a Nintendo console. Almost every big game being released for the X1 and PS4 are also on PC.

If you prefer the PC gaming experience over the console gaming experience then there probably is not any major reason to own a Xbox One, but plenty of people either can't afford a gaming PC or just don't like playing games on a PC and prefer the console experience.

Outside of gaming message boards, most people could not care less if all of the Xbox One's games were also on the PC. That's not going to suddenly make them get into PC gaming; they still want a console. If someone that can't afford a gaming PC or does not like playing games on a PC wants to play Quantum Break or Gears 4 then the only thing that matters is which consoles can play those games. The Xbox One is the only console that can play those games so those people have a major reason to own a Xbox One.

Consoles and PC are as much of a different market as consoles and handhelds are. That's why Microsoft and Sony are fighting to secure console exclusives, but they really do not care much if the games also appear on PC.

Your first mistake was coming off like a fanboy by trying to throw PS4 under the same line of fire that xbox one is in because of your bias. Screaming "you too" when PS3 was under fire for it's shortcomings didn't work didn't work for cows last gen and it won't work for lems defending xbox one this gen.

I DON'T own a gaming PC this gen! Now here is the problem and the issue for someone like me who's usually always consoles first...I also DON'T own an xbox one.

Do you under stand this vital point? I don't own a gaming PC, but I also don't own an xbox one. Normally I wouldn't think twice about buying a gaming PC before console but consoles have ALWAYS justified their value to me thru their exclusive (even it small) line up.

With xbox one at this point they've completely crippled that value as a console at this point and essentially puts PC and a console equal, no that would be wrong it makes the console the worse option since PC has the benefit of other games plus no XBL fees.

And who said I wasnt excited for any xbox one games? I've always expressed interest in Quantum Break and Scalebound and was considering an xbox one for JUST those two games, why would I buy an xbox one now when I can play them in superior form on PC without live fees and a bigger library to boot?
