Battlefield 3 currently runs better on the PS3 ( Console Version)

Frostbite engine has always run well on consoles I'm sure it will be pretty even by the time the game releases.

Does bf3 console have 64 players?

Obviously I am playing it on PC, but yeah a long time ago DICE said they were excited about DX11 on PC and the Cell (I think) on the PS3. They specially noted those two things and the two systems.

I disagree, just because it is on consoles doesn't make it a bad experience. PC will undoubtedly be better, but just because it is the better version doesn't mean the console versions won't compare. I'd be willing to bet that BF3 will be one of the best console online shooters by release.

LOL, console versions, there won't be a huge difference between the 2 unlike PC. PS3 version may have slightly better graphics than 360 but won't be a whole gen ahead like PC, it has it's limits too.

I picked the PC version of Bad Company 2 a few days ago and I was a fool to get it on 360 1st, never doing that again, come on BF3 on PC.

This is coming from someone who started with BF2 BTW.

Save up. I'm 15 with no job and by the time Battlefield 3 gets here, I'm going to have a hexacore AMD Bulldozer processor and 8 gigs of ram with, hopefully, an HD 6970(or 7970. I have not idea when the next generation of GPUs is going to get here). Prioritize things and it's really easy to get things.

Who cares its still only 24 players, pc has 64 and 60 fps.

I'm actually going to continue this thread by quoting this in agreement.

They say stuff like that cus they know how vocal the PS3 crowd are and that could affect sales. Just wait until the game comes out and somehow the X360 version will look a little better or have better frame-rate or something... Ghostbuster anyone?

The ignorance of the people on this thread is staggering, seriously i played bf2 on PC it was great but I'm getting bf3 on my ps3 because i don't much care for the PC anymore I'm not paying to upgrade my rig, in my opinion its a HUGE waste of money when i have a platform that runs the game fine with no worries or extra costs. It amazes me how you guys automatically say all other version= suck just because the player cap on other platforms some people really don't care. honestly if this is what these forums are becoming I'm pretty sick of it Graphics don't equal a good game. I'm sorry they don't PC has nothing except graphics over consoles and that why u guys always say this stuff to justify your gaming rigs which you paid 800-1000 dollars for.

PC version will also get a server browser and more features, while consoles may not if the BF games on consoles are anything to go by, it's not just graphics, have fun with matchmaking and EA's crappy servers console owners.

Hell, the devs say some maps will only be on PC because consoles may not be able to handle it.

I have yet to pay for a 1000 bucks on a PC BTW and I've been PC gaming since 2001.

i have played it on pc as well there the difference is miniscule as i said your trying to justify ur pc purchase no need to be ignorant about it.
