Where is the gameplay screenshots with 16 cars on track?

I find if funny that GT fans proclaim that GT5P will be nothing like GT5...but assume the game will support 16 cars..like GT5P..
...Who knew..

Yes, look at that stunning background, look how realistic it looks. Why it looks to me as if someone has taken a photograph and pasted it into the background. Amazing. /sarcasm
The background and enviroment in Forza still looks crap. Neither are anywhere near to how good PGR4 looks overall. Car models are superior, yes, but I find it hard to believe everything else with the exception of the roads still looks terrible.

I guess when you want a game to look bad, it's easy to ignore the good stuff that maters, and base your oppinion on the bad that doesn't.
I don't want the game to be bad. That does look alot better though. If someone wanted the game to look impressive this is what they should have shown. When I see a picture of a car going along a road with a photgraph in the background I'm not going to be impressed. If the game came out and looked like this with the car models in that enviroment then it would look impressive, which brings me to the question, why is there no car in that picture?
They showed cars running on that very track at E3 demos.... Come on... Get with the program, l have a screenshot on my desktop right now of a cockpit view of that track, l'd love to post it, but don't really want to go to the trouble of uploading it and everything. But that's one of the most shown off tracks....

As do I. I'm guessing there was a reason that GT5P didn't have starting grids and all races were flying starts with the cars strung out in a long line. And that the framerate buried itself if more than a handful of cars got bunched up in a corner. I'm not saying PD won't be able to fix this, but it really made it difficult to play under those circumstances and I wouldn't be suprised in the least if the car count dropped from 16 cars on track. Fanboys who moved from the no longer existent graphics argument to the number of cars on track argument will look a bit stupid. Not that fanboys don't already though.

Wow, that doesn't even touch Forza 3 in graphics. :| I expected more from Polyphony. :(

It seems Turn 10 not only has created better backgrounds, but far superior models to boot.

Not impressive at all. Just looks bland, i know they have much more inspired original tracks than that.[QUOTE="WasntAvailable"]

Well the trailer did have 16 cars on track, so its much more than a fair "assumption".people are still posting those garage mode pics of forza 3?
cant fool me, i saw the gameplay vids, it looks horrible.
[QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"]And my god, Forza 3 looks beautiful. I love Turn 10. No long wait and they put out the greatest racer ever made. You're my god **** hero BioShockOwnz If Forza 3 is so utterly amazing why did the game journalists and web sites award Split Second the best racing game of E3? Just curious.Yeah, I watched the gameplay vids. FM3 looks better than GT5, and if history repeats itself, it'll be the better playing game of the two to boot.

gt5 will be a full generation ahead of forza3.

Soo....a generation ahead the cars will have 5 times less poligons? :P
Now seriously, both games will look equally great. Why dont keep it like that? :?
gt5 will have more cars on track at once and they will look better regardless what Take10 is saying about polygons.[QUOTE="PAL360"]

Equally great with less polygons, and more cars on track? I think GT5 has the edge, based off what you said.gt5 will have more cars on track at once and they will look better regardless what Take10 is saying about polygons. The problem with having so many cars on track isn't the visuals, it's the A.I. which is what Polyphony needs to be working on more right nowZoomZoom2490

dude, there was 16 cars on track in the nascar portion of the GT5 trailer. :|The problem with having so many cars on track isn't the visuals, it's the A.I. which is what Polyphony needs to be working on more right now[QUOTE="ZoomZoom2490"]gt5 will have more cars on track at once and they will look better regardless what Take10 is saying about polygons.

The real problem with too many cars on track is online. Most public online races are 3-5 laps. It's impossible to cleanly pass 15 other cars in that amount of time. Michael Shumaker couldn't do it. Even passing 7 cars is extremely difficult and the back grid player have a serious disadvantage. Though for career mode, endurance, and multi-class racing, 16 would be very nice.

Much more than an fair "assumption"?.....How about a super assumption?..is that more reliable than a "better than sliced bread assumption?"
The funny thing is you still are trying to downplay the "assumption" aspect of it...Keep at it.....Have fun with it...

Yeah it's a sticky situation with so many cars on track in short races.. And for the challenges in Prologue Passing 15 cars in one lap wouldn't be so hard if they didn't bump me into the grass when I try to pass them.. More cars COULD just create a bigger mess.. damage alone is enough to say gt5 is nothing like prologue.i love bullshots, its the way companies can get punters to buy good games with bad graphics, in this case, however, its a mediocre series with ok graphics. I'm unsure how to feel :?clembo1990
There's really no bigger graphics junkie than myself at Turn 10 and I'm constantly surprised by just how insanely next generation the game looks from a visual standpoint. Not only have the cars themselves gotten much more detailed, our 100+ tracks in the game provide some truly inspired locales to fuel your car passion. Much of the leap in graphical fidelity with Forza 3 was made possible by our game engine developers, whom, in the early days (think summer of 2007) set out to rebuild a new renderer and content pipeline for Forza 3. So just like before, Forza 3 runs at a glassy smooth 60 frames-per-second, with our physics calculating underneath the hood at a much higher framerate. New shaders and tech puts the finishing touches on an already handsome Forza Motorsport 2. Likewise, with the gameplay video, everything was captured in-game with no faked CG whatsoever. At Turn 10, we don't do bullshots.
comeon man, get over it, the game really does look good.
And yes, I do know it's photomode,

What's wrong with the forza pics? they are 720, thats how they are when uploaded to the website.
heres a lemans car,
I think it's funny everyone claims forza is doing bullshots, it's proven they arn't.

That looks so much more realistic than the GT5 shot.
And smooth, realistic tires in FM3:

Jeez Bioshock posting enough pics are we? You have posted more Forza 3 pics in this thread than everyone else has since the game was announced.
Now if you don't mind me saying, no Forza 3 does not look as good as GT5, as I don't know what it is about it but something feels off about the graphics. Like they're trying to get graphics like GT but pulling off a more Ridge Racer look.
But Forza doesn't look bad in the least, just not as good looking as GT5 IMO.
