I doubt it will be a shooter. Nomura doesn;t know too much about shooters. It will probably be Action/.RPG

Its be commented that hes been playing alot of Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden in his off time though.

They said something about it having certain similaritys to TPSs :S Nomura said "the game play will have third-person-shooter elements like Dirge of the Cerebus"

The Witcher is an excellent RPG and the best WRPG to come in a looong time.

MotB is an abomination, I have no idea why I spent so much on it...well, I do, NWN2 was great, either way, not NEARLY as deep as Disgaea, and if Infinite Undiscovery follows through with 1/2 of it's promises, no game will be able to touch it's depth of evolutionary qualities this gen.

It's kinda sad to say that the 360 is the RPG king this gen.

Compared to the PS1 and the PS2, this gen is only lacking in RPGs. The 360 can have its crown of **** if you ask me.

Its kind of hard to have an endpoint when you have a product thats constantly evolving. I see tons of RPGs on consoles that are beginning to have the same kind of content longevity as MMOs now as well. What would happen to Mass Effect once they start pumping out all the DLC. Yeah, the 360 has everything beat in terms of number and possibly quality.

But there's got Disgaea 3 coming out next month, and thats 200+ hours of gametime easy, so I'm not too envious at the moment.
