[QUOTE="Microsoft1234"]The game itself is just another WW2 fps. But the controls are better than any other console FPS, followed my MP3.i have medoal of honor heroes two, it wasn't that great and the aiming took some getting used to.

i know its another ww2 fps but i played with the controls and they were nothign "spectacular" it was interesting yes, but then u go back to other analog controllers and it feels better, especially because wiimote rumble isn't that great.
[QUOTE="xXHackettXx"]Because is a port of a dual analog shooter? Dual analog shooters need autoaming and/or aim assist in order to be playable. That's a well known fact. The video of MoH:H2 i posted doesn't need neither (or even aim with the weapons sights) and its faster that both, Halo 3 and CoD4 console version.I wasn't telling you to leave I was saying I'm so positive that your showing a Halo 1 PC clip to show why the 360 has bad controls, that I'd leave if I was wrong, and you just agreed that it was on the PC... So why'd you use a bad PC clip to show that the 360 had bad FPS controls?
loco145
wow too bad no wii shooter even has goten more then an 8.5 and xbox 360 has halo 3, GOW, Cod4 and soon to be gow2, maybe cod waw that are going to be 9+ games.
also no one is even online on any wii fps, that is if it even has online and halo 2, which was released back in 2004 for the xbox has more people online every 24 hours then the wii has ever had online.
So you are really ignorant, or huge fanboy

Well, "it feels better" because you are used to the autoaim. We are discussing controllers, aren't we?wow too bad no wii shooter even has goten more then an 8.5 and xbox 360 has halo 3, GOW, Cod4 and soon to be gow2, maybe cod waw that are going to be 9+ games.

yes we are, and isnt have the value of a games score the control scheme? if halo 3 or gow had terrible controls they wouldnt have gotten a 9.5 plus while if mp3 and far cry had better controls, wouldnt they get better then what they got?

No. Army of Two got a 6 and it used the same controller than those games? SHOCK!!!!The polls don't lie, 360 controller ftw.BudsMcGreen
What if more people would've voted for the PS3 controller? Would that automatically make it the better controller? NO!
It's all just a matter of what people prefer, and it just happens that more people ITT like the 360 controller more...
In other words, which one has the most autoaim? Even the Wiimote uses autoaim in all shooters for the most part. Nothing even begins to compare to a KB/Mouse. Thread title made me laugh, sorry, had to respond. ;)Puckhog04MP3 uses camera assist but is not needed and its legacy of the cube ones. MoH:H2 only have aim-lock assist in the single player easy mod. There's none for normal or hard campaign and multiplayer ;) .
[QUOTE="xXHackettXx"] Well your wrong that is the PC version, since that multiplayer level isnt in Halo 1 (xbox), and the slayer symbol at the top right is a dead give away that its the PC version, nice try though.loco145For a start, thats Halo 2.That's Halo 1 on PC not 2. You can see the health tanks at the bottom of the health bar.

the one problem with that is, only more people would vote for it if it was better

Or more people in this thread just prefer the 360 controller. That doesn't make it better as BudMcgreen said, nor does it mean that the PS3 controller is bad. Its all a matter of opinion. This could be argued all day, but there really is no controller that is better. Its just a matter of what someone prefers. :P
People don't believe that that 360 has good FPS controls because a modded version of Halo:CE for the PC has auto aim for a gun that isn't even supposed to be in the game? This is why people believe that the 360 have good fps controls...

Yeah, we are. So why do you post a vid of HALO 1 on PC and claim it's Halo 2? And obviously both of those games are not made for 360 so you and your argument is an EPIC FAIL.

You are talking about Aim Assist which slows down the reticule when aiming near a person to make up for the lack of precision in thumbsticks. Most console shooters use this, and if they don't, they make up for it using other methods like a bigger reticule. And how you can't see the difference between Halo: CE and Halo 2 is beyond me.This is why people believe that the 360 have good fps controls...

I would have to go with the 360s controller. Simply because I played most console FPSes on it. But I later traded it in for a PS3, which I'm happy about. The only FPS I've played on ps3 is Resistance, and wasn't satisfied with the controls. The ps3 R2 L2 triggers are very very bad for FPS's, if used for shooting...
Though they are prefered for driving games etc. The shoulder buttons are as good as always though and subsistute as triggers for shooters pretty well. I must say though that the DS2 was much better in the trigger area. The 360 has great triggers for FPS... but then again it's D-pad is probably the worst thing I've ever encountered, really really inacurate and sloppy.

Dude you're playing PC Halo:CE. Go away shermit:lol:
Why on earth would you repost a picture that the same guy already posted twice and has already proven to be the PC version of Halo: CE? Both you and the other guy need to stop acting like Wii FPS's don't have aim assist.lol Dual Stick aiming is complete trash For me its K&M and Wiimote

That's to move the camera pal. Notice how you are talking about the "screen" and no the target. Also, what about the recoil and sight aiming? On PC fps, sights aiming give you reduced recoil and a smaller aim to improve accuracy. On dual analog fps, sights aiming give you a bigger image and better auto-aming/aim-assist since there isn't much recoil to begin with.. The MoH:H2 wii uses the former.
In MoH:h2, the reticule is (relative) big not to compensate the bad aiming (like in dual analog) but to reduce your accuracy.SInce the real damage is in the center of the circle. Just read how many people were complaining about wasting full mags without killing the target even though the reticule was always red.
BTW, i mentioned on-rails shooters because the camera isn't a factor there. They show how fast is the wii-mote aiming without factoring-in the camera.
Do you have a point or was that an attempt to troll?II-FBIsniper-II
No, its my reaction to you dissmissing the entire rail shooting genre.

The using of the genre to show "good" fps controls was ridiculous, hence me dismissing it. I don't care who appreciates what, rail shooters in this generation of consoles are not good.[QUOTE="II-FBIsniper-II"]Really? Dual Stick FPS's aim assist is garbage, no matter how you spin it .
Lol. THAT isn't to asist you aim (aim assist), thats to move your camera. How come on-rail shooters doesn't need to slowdown/speedup anywhere to assist your aim? Because you don't need to move the camera there...
