Best GTA Game Ever

Wow, this one is rediculusly hard. You cant really choose them, but if i were to choose one, it would be San Andreas. I really enjoyed the storyline, and the customizable options were nice, but overall, it was Sam Jacksons Voice Over that was the best part(other than the gameplay).

why everyone thinkin vice city?

I really liked CJ in San Andreas, what was the guy in vice city called?

I cant remember, i know in GTA3 he doesnt talk

Vice City, Missions, plot, music, city, ambient etc it was all better for me.

I gotta say SA is technically superior, but when I pleyed it I lost interest half way through the game, I finished it just because but it has grown on me I like it more than back then now and the cheats + co-op was great fun.

GTA 3 was a lot of fun, But i thought that Vice City was tryin way too much to be Scarface and other 80's al capone based movies

I hope you are kidding. I, in fact liked/had no problem with CJ, the thing I didn't like is how he was left almost like a nobody at the end, in comparison to Tommy who ended up in a better position to not spoil, that pissed me off. 

Vice City FTW.

It had the best main character, the best storyline, the best missions, the best music and the best setting. 

Toughie.  San Andreas was wicked fun, pretty big too, but Vice City had the coolest main character ever...

Eh, San Andreas.  If I say otherwise, I get marked as a White Supremacist. :D 

I really love all of them. Even the ones way back in the day on the PC and even LCS and VCS.

My favourite is GTA: San Andreas. GTA is, in my opinion, the best series ever made.

I'm black (German/panamanian) and I thought the game sucked;CJ was fine though.

I'll go with the crowd and say Vice City. I grew up in the 80s, and it's easily my favorite decade. Plus it probably helps that it was the first game in the series that I played.

Vice City had the best music, everything from 80s rock to New Wave. SA had... A lot of rap. I don't mind rap, but I don't really care for the type that if you ran it through an obcenity filter you'd maybe get every fifth word back.

Vice City was definately my favorite.

Vice City owned... period. 

Everything about it was awesome ! from the Purchaseing of franchises to make you money and puchasing homes , to the AMAZING soundtrack.... none of the other GTA's came close !

Its not that he was black, it was the fact that from GTA 3 you go from being a nobody to taking down the equivelant of the "mafia" and in vice city you go from being a nobody to owning miami :lol:  in San Andreas, you are some uneducated moron in a a gang in the "hood" and you go from being nobody to being a .... :| nobody....    The story was LAME in San Andreas, everything else was good, but I could care less for the whole "gang in the hood" type theme, it made for horrible characters, and a even worse story.

But there were some that I really liked from GTA SA like Ten penny and his corrupt officers... they rocked.  But some of the people you "hooked up with" were just .... dumb like the CIA/FBI guy... lame, the blind chinamen... lame and the hispanic guy that is dating CJ's sister .... added nothing to the game, it was just a waste of time.

all in all VC > GTA3 & GTA SA any day.

I liked saints Row but again... I hated the Gang theme.... uneducated people cussing every 2 seconds annoyed me, but..... Saints row was saved by its Graphics, Physics, aiming system, and its online multiplayer ( when it finally got fixed :roll: )

I thx god that Rockstar got rid of that gang crap with the next GTA.

Actually none, lol. I had more fun with GTA2 then any of them back on the PS1 

I never got far enough in San Andreas to like it, cause it seemed to bore me after a few times of playing it. Vice City kept me going. That was a great game.

Though oddly enough, I prefer Saints Row. I despise auto-aim. Which is why I prefered the PC renditions of GTA. Unfortunately, that wasn't the most fluid either. Saints Row has the best control IMO.
