Best GTA Game Ever

Im pretty sure most of you people "disliked" SA because the main character was black and there was a heavy hip hop boyz in the hood theme.

Im pretty sure if they threw a white guy in there with some classic rock, you would've thought it was a classic.

I loved the 3 cities, and all that you could do in them. Also they had samual Jackson voice acting. I dont see how people cannot like this game.

exactly what I was thinking. Vice city had a great atmosphere and everything but the gameplay in san andreas was so much better. People who didn't like it just wasn't a fan of the gangsta vibe.

What's with all the accusations of racism? It's just a game. Saying that someone is racist becuase they prefer a game over another is ridiculous.

I also forgot to mention that if vice city is better than GTA san andreas, why is it that GTA SA always on gamespot top 10? Its number 7 right now and I think last week it was 4 or 5. Not bad for an old game.Mobb_One1

This pollis asking for our personal preference. It's not asking for the highest scored game, otherwise we wouldn't need this thread to figure that out, we'd go to the review websites.

I don't understand why people can't accept the fact people liked Vice City more than SA. It's not saying SA is bad or anything, there were a lot of good ideas and additions in it, but I found the Vice City experience more memorable and enjoyable. I guess it is game length that does factor into my decision. When any game runs too long there is a chance of tedium and slow spots that can hurt a game a little.

This reminds me of when I said Empire Strikes Back was my favorite Star Wars film. And then all of these fanboys viciously said I was crazy, and that Revenge of the Sith was the best. best effects, best visuals, more battles, more lightsabers, more everything.

Well I'm here to tell you more is not everything. Empire Strikes Back is still my favorite Star Wars movie. (RotS is actually my least favorite.)

I'm surprised that 2 people actually said LCS. Maybe they liked it on psp. But its was not as good as III on ps2.

SA is by far the best yet. I felt that III and Vice City were too restricted in the city. But if they made another Vice with improved controls, and a bigger map, THEN it could be better. I liked the story of SA the best too. SA was the easiest of them all though.

Okay I mean I know I said GTA3 earlier but..

There were two about three missions in SA that absolutely killed all the previous gameplay ellements. I'm talking about the one where you and Big Smoke drive on a bike with russians chasing you all around, and a truck keeps on hunting you at every turn. However (its been a while sinse I played it so i might be confusing two missions here but...) the mission where all four of your 'associates' attempt to gain access to a block of flats which come under seige by SWAT, and you end up shooting off the top of a car with an assault rifle with cops jumping onto the car trying to fight you, and eventually attacked by a chopper which cuts the last cop off the car before you crash through a billboard, bail out, and watch the car hit a petrol tanker and blow to bits hollywood style. And then there is the showdown with the 'negatively influenced' police officer voiced by S. L. Jackson. But GTA3 still had the atmosphere right compared to other games.

Vice City was the best GTA game of all time. I mean sure GTA San Adreas had alot more features, but Vice City was just perfect, it has great characters and great music..Farzan777

Vice City did have good music (flock of seagulls' I Ran) But SA had a diferent style of music, it had a ghetto hiphop rap feel to it. It didnt have many rock songs (Horse With No Name being a notable exeption)

I love all GTA games, but to this day GTA III remains my favorite,

I still go back and play it, even w/ SA+VC, and everything else. I probably won't play it for awhile now that 4 is out, though.

People choose Vice City for the music, GTA IV for the graphics, GTA III for the nostalgia and GTA San Andreas for the gameworld.

I alsways vote for gameworlds, so San Andreas got my vote, even though I am a child of the 80's and visted Miami in 1987!

And oh, by the way San Andreas is the highest selling of them all at 22.5 million copies and counting. GTA SA, would you believe it, sold over a million units in 2008, 4 years after it's release!

It was Rockstar that announced San Andreas selling over a million in 2008 by the way, so don't callme a liar! Also, Amazon has a list of it's GTA games in sales and GTA San Andreas is at the top of that - and that one you can go look up, soI suppose despite this poll putting Vice City a little ahead, in sales terms, ie the number of people who took money out of their pocket to buy it, San Andreas is quite away ahead.

It could be what while with GTA III we have seen GTA IV 'update', and with the likilihood of GTA Vice City also being re-done, it only leaves San Andreas as a game, that because of it's huge world, will never be done again. So people still hanker after it! :)

GTA: San Andreas, huge map, lots of weapons, cars, it was an amazing game.

San Andreas completely ruined everything,that game was way too much of an RPG for me.

I also hate the health bar, numbers were better for some stupid reason

Did you forget what forum we are posting in? **** polls are hardly a rarity around here. That would be my common sense on the issue.

Vice City. I liked how money was scarce and the rewarding feeling when you eventually profit from real estate and other investments. I really hope the next GTA advances on that aspect.

Vice City without a question. That game deserved a 10 IMHO. It was perfect in terms of fun factor.
