As far as games go, I can say I'm already ready to buy COD4. They showed a lot of videos already (both SG and MP) and they convinced me.

Now for Killzone 2, they showed some impressive lightning and I like the animations. THOUGH, they didn't show enough to convince me that it is going to be a great game. I'm keeping an close eye on it for sure.

What that guy showed was a cutscene from Gears. What you are showing is gameplay for Gears, and we don't know if that is gameplay or cutscene from Killzone.

Wow. That's certainly fair. Trying to use the rating system paradigm switch to increase the odds of your favored game turning out to be better publicized.

Killzone could tie with GeoW and you could still say it scored lower since they don't round it to the nearest ten until after .6.

Killzone 2 by far IMO. The building have better textures and a lot more details. The enviorments look much better on Killzone 2, the graphics are smoother on Killzone 2, there's a quite a bit more action on Killzone 2, and on Killzone 2 the closer part of the gun starts to blur a little as it would in real life because of periphiral vision. Killzone 2 is by far the best looking game on a console and comes close to Crysis.TOTAL_DEFENSE_0

my input, overall when it comes to grpahics I think Killzone is doing things that you just don't see in CoD4, the whole atmosphere of the game just looks way more realistic. At first glance when you look at CoD4 you know it's a game, but Killzone at some points you may need a second look. Artisticlly Killzone is just way more immersive to me. On the other hand CoD4 looks more fun right now, it's not really that the A.I. is so good but there's just something about the fast paced gameplay that makes it feel more lifelike compared to the Killzone gameplay I have seen.

Right now I will say

Visuals- Obviously goes to Killzone

Gameplay- goes to CoD4

Overall Killzone can and probably will improve on both fronts.

yeah but the major difference is...COD4 comes out this year and is nearing completion....KZ2 is not. At this stage in the game id say KZ2 has the upper hand for that simple fact alone.

just becuase you dont have control in the ship doesnt mean the scene is pre-rendered/CGI...because its not. As soon as you jump off it raises your gun and you begin your battle...theres no loading time between to cut from cutscene to gameplay. Its all in-game and fluid. One part is just scripted. Games have done this in the past.....REmake on GC for example.....
