Best Killzone 2 vs CoD4 comparison

So? Gears is a TPS and killzone 2 is what? Yeah. Anyways. I think killzone 2 comes somewhat close to those character models. All while having more things going on, on screen, with environment destructibility. ALL in pre-pre-alpha stage!

just becuase you dont have control in the ship doesnt mean the scene is pre-rendered/CGI...because its not. As soon as you jump off it raises your gun and you begin your battle...theres no loading time between to cut from cutscene to gameplay. Its all in-game and fluid. One part is just scripted. Games have done this in the past.....REmake on GC for example.....

U see the Gun and the characters during gameplay.For example after they showed him the map u take out his gun and u see rico right next to u.I getting the feeling u didn't even watch the extended version.

wut? killzone 2 animations are like on top right now ive seen all of the cod4 videos and they seem like generic animations of people running and enemies being shot looks like cod2 and 3. im not bashing im a fan of both im just pointing out truth, i honestly can not wait to play cod4. kz 2 has the most realistic human fluid animations ive ever seen in a game

Ok so far all of the CoD4 preset animations are in and that is why it looks so good. As the Killzone dev said the finalanimation for Killzone 2 isn't in the game yet. During actually combat inKillzone the animation is still kinda like Killzone 1.The only really nice animation is when the guy jumps down the rail, and you see 2 other helghast do a similar thing eariler in the demo that's about it for that so far at least movement animations. Death animations I think are better on Killzone plus the blood is a plus looks awesome on Killzone.

COD4 obviously has more POLISH right now because well..its coming out in a few months. KZ2 has alot of dev time left.....even with that in mind if KZ2 even improves graphically only another 15% or so it will outdo COD4. In their current states....its basically shiny vs gritty....some peoples eyes like shiny glossy looking games more than soft subtle gritty filter silent hill-ish looking games....either way its hard to deny KZ2's graphical greatness.

Best Killzone vid so far as far as showing more of the gameplay, it's probably the choppiest one I have seen though. I really like that First Person cover. And here you see the other squad land and jump out of their transport vehicle.

Why anyone continues to reply to you is beyond me (this goes to both dualshockin, and uptown, no offense guys). Heli68 obviously is trying to kill the killzone hype. kinda like the rebel from the crowd. he wants to go against the popular belief right now which is Killzone is a graphical powerhouse. i dont know about you but from the sounds of it, he is just trying to find a reason NOT to like it, so i would suggest ignoring this guy.

the ragdolls are way better, enemies crumple so much more realisticly no more bodies flipping and flopping all over, just look at my sig as that helghast is riddeled with bullets and reacts accordingly to every single bullet, that is amazing and actually taht same thing is in cod4 ha
