I miss the opening week of BF3 where everyone was a nubcake and was still learning :cry: Now we have entire teams of max rank players snapshotting people across the map with shotguns

Let's hope so. I don't hate the maps but they were a letdown. They are so broken and unbalanced in places

I was pretty good at the start cos I had better guns and Mines but now everyone checks for mines and I can't troll with them. and lots of people are better in jets now and overall just not as dumb as before. They all have their M249s and IR scopes now so its total easy mode for everyone. SMGs can rival an SV98 for distance and power which is sickening

I was playing the 360 version a little tonight and its taking 3 bullets to drop somebody with the sniper rifle. I still cant believe that people are under the map in OP Metro just like from the "Beta"and that a flashlight can blind me in broad daylight. There is no question that this game was not ready for the release date and they just wanted to get it out the door before MW3 arrived.

Griefing with C4 is really fun. Having pointless jeep battles with the enemy and no one on the LMG is far too fun :P

Just downloaded the update for BF3 on origin and am gonna play a few rounds. I read though that they have increased the mobile AAs power against infantry and didn't nerf it against jets :? idiots

They are probably figuring out how to balance in IRNV.

From what I can gather they threw in some basic squad functionality and weapon balance in this patch. Any major changes to the UI are probably still being worked on.

I know there is a problem with the Russia version of this game and the language pack, it didn't get updated properly and the forums are flooded with complaints by people who get a black screen. There is a fix yet it's still a problem.

I honestly don't know if DICE wants to update the PC UI at all. I know they can't just easily fix up squads and implement large changes, but they have given no word as if they are going to fix that horrible chatbox, fix up the minimap, or anything else that is really annoying.

I'm enjoying the game a bit more. The problem is the maps and the UI, both of which are mostly horrid. However, my bro and I found a good 64 player Caspian/Kharg/Firestorm server, and since those are the only maps I play anyways, it has sort of become our place to go. The game needs this huge update they've been promising us, no doubt, but I'm definitely enjoying it more now.

One thing I hope they add (this could just be personal preference) is depth of field when aiming down sights. It just looks *wrong* that you can see both the background and the gun in perfect clarity.

From what I can read, a lot of people are having problems with the patch. Most of them have those cheap Russian keys.

Yeah it doesn't really do anything noticeable IMO. Maybe others can see it but I can't. the bigger patch hopefully will fix other things.

I got killed by 2 shots from it today. Its WAY OP now. I have no idea what they were thinking. Also the commo rose and the UI are almost untouched. Except now you don't get put in squads automatically you have to join

No they won't. The new maps won't be crappy linear peices of junk like Devmand peak. They are going to be open, have way more ways to flank your enemy, not have chokepoints everywhere, and actually be fun.

I meant like as in it's creativity. I would like Rush maps with one big "feature" of some sort, like Devmand's peak. It's not a perfect map, but most of the rush maps in BF3 don't really feel that good
