Yesterday actually well yesterday from when I made the post, I tried it again but the constant crashing is infuriating. I haven't played since though, not sure when they are going to fix their stuff, but I've learnt my lesson when it comes to buying games not made by blizzard on launch day.

I actually prefer Hardcore in this game over BC2.

The more I play BF3, the more I hate that DICE split the focus on both consoles and PC. They should have just stuck with one or the other. 24 player Caspian Border is boring as hell but 64 player Metro is retarded. AcidSoldner

You are aware that you can play Metro with 24 or 32 players right? You don't have to play it with 64. Apparently lots of people enjoy it though.

I'm becoming the master of the noob-tubing. For some reason there are a bunch of Metro 64 24/7 maps, you can pretty much aim anywhere and kill at least 2 people in one tube shot. Now I can safely inflate my profile statistics =D. Making a crappy K/D ration into a good one!

I was also on a server where the Attackers had 262 tickets, won both games as an Attackers and Defenders. So time consuming, lol.

I don't know if anyone has posted this, but I thought it was pretty funny.

Im getting pretty good at recon now and while its not as fun as recon in BC2 its still awesome to pull off huge headshots or like 3 headshots in very quick succession.

Also I had a dunbass moment yesterday. I thought I was playing in 1080p the whole time but my TV was either upscaling or just lying to me because I messed with the resolution some more and it is REALLY at 1080p now and my system is struggling now to play on Ultra where it breezed before :P I felt like such an idiot. The game looks hugely better now too haha

First game after my SWTOR beta binge and I was put on a team with 96 tickets versus 265 tickets on Grand Bizarre. How the hell does this even happen? I really wish there was a 'new game' checkbox so I don't have to join games in progress, plus be put on a team that is getting absolutely crushed.

I kinda hate the INRV, once you get used to it, playing without feels like you're crippling yourself. Makes the otherwise addicting weapon unlock system kinda pointless.ManicAce

Exactly. Only players and their packs along with vehicles are visible. So the IR scope on an M249 on a map like Metro is easy mode. Its so funny. Stick a Bipod on and campety camp camp.

Also sniping as a defender on the first part of metro is sooooooooo much fun :P

My ranking has stopped altogether, the crashing was just too much for me. Imagine I have more issues in BF3 than skyrim...

I got into a laggy server and mistakened it for frame drops, so I dropped my settings to High. I forgot to change back to Ultra so I continued playing on High. When I realized I was on High I switched back to Ultra and my game immediately crashed. Turns out if I have any sort of AA in game than it will completely crash the game. No other setting matter but if I even put the AA to 2x than it will instantly crash.

Edit: Running on ATI 11.10. 11.9 did the same thing

yep. Like all the time it was doing it. whenever a new map was started I could play for like 2 minutes and freeze and crash. Then the next round would be fine but as soon as a new map came it would go down again. But I reverted back to the drivers released during the BF3 beta and no crashes. But I am playing Skyrim now so I don't know which drivers to use, whether to stay at 285.38 or get the newest ones

Tried that but it didn't work. It actually got to the point where I couldn't even launch the game because it was allowed me to put on AA for a minute but then it crashed so every time I launched it, it would immiately crash. I had to delete all my settings (and accidentally deleted all my SP progress) to get it to actually let me play the game

Run around with a shotgun and you will realise you can't hit anything and kill it from more than a few feet away. Shotguns got hugely nerfed for BF3 and rightly so
