If we were to be as literal and strict as you then we could argue that why are we talking about differences in systems and fanbases when the thread is about the Bioshock review?

I might not go through with my preorder. My backlog is freakin huge and for some reason I think they are going to release a better version of this on PS4.

there is a difference between seeing past 24 fps and seeing the effects of greater than 24 fps.  If you game you know when your frame rate drops.  You can see the image get choppy or appear slow.  When the game is at a higher fps the game apears more fluid and animations look more natural and less like a stop motion movie.  So yes there is a difference.   I can play Crysis 3 on the highest settings with only FXAA and get 40fps on average.  But I choose to turn it down to high, second highest setting, because when I do I get 80 to 100 fps and the game looks a lot better in motion.
