lies, lies and more lies... PS3 version excels at some stuff while the Xbox at others and that is the truth. There is no clear winner between the 2 console versions unless you add the PC into the equation.

They are both sh*t when you compare them to the PC version with the DX 11 patch and hi res textures, no need to bicker about tiny differences. No, you don't need a guide, you just need common sense. I have no problem with using Crysis 2's stealth system. the ai is sh!t in crysis 1 stfu[QUOTE="ferret-gamer"][QUOTE="PinnacleGamingP"] i played on hard and i could sneak around too, but no stealth kills and still stay stealth. i tried it on normal too same sh!t. like the guy above said maybe you need a guide or something to do it perfectly, but from a fluent and realistic perspective its brokenPinnacleGamingP
You actually have to pay attention to where the other enemies are and where they are looking when you kill someone. I cloaked my way through most of crysis and crysis warhead.

It's a pretty hard game if you ask me. Especially when compared to other FPSs of this gen. It's not that hard with cloak. If I skip cloaking and stick to iron sights, then it gets really hard especially with the hawkeye aim of the KPA and lack of crosshairs. I haven't gotten past Recovery yet with the latter.

Well it seems that everyone is always wearing body armor, so you need headshots, but the amount of ADS sway can make that a little difficult

Well that's what I did, since cloaking and losing energy was too bothersome, ironically silenced dual wielding pistols with laser sights was the most effective weapon for me.[QUOTE="jun_aka_pekto"]

Don't use the silencer. I can usually down KPA with 3 shots or 1 headshot. If there's a large group (like 6 KPA), at least one may be a bullet sponge to keep you occupied. When I encounter one, I shift my fire to the other KPA.

I have a question for hermits who played Crysis. I only played Crysis on console and the Koreans are cheap at times. I mean just after 1 shot of silent SCAR, they immediately know where I am and run towards me ? Does Crysis on PC have this BS ?[QUOTE="jun_aka_pekto"][QUOTE="lostrib"]

The only time I use a silencer is if I'm sniping from a distance and going for headshots.
Edit:
I guess that means No for me.

Pretty much, if you have cover or are somewhat far away they won't instantly know where you are, just get startled and start searching the area.I have a question for hermits who played Crysis. Pretty much, if you have cover or are somewhat far away they won't instantly know where you are, just get startled and start searching the area. But they're still way too sensitive...They are using helms -again- to evade the need to do many faces, and they are designing -again- small maps. They are also using almost the same horrible HUD and the game probably will have the same blurry look.
Crysis 2 killed the Crytek fanboy on me and this looks as a Crysis 2 expansion; I think that Warface is way more iteresting.

But I love the look of fright when you grab the KPA soldier in Crysis 1 :(
Meh, looks ok. There is a lot of harshness in the visuals like it's kind of hard to look at. The details though are impressive. But I couldn't care less how it looks really at this stage, it's about how it plays I'm more curious about and will determine if I buy it

On the PC.....
By the time the KPA gets wind of my sniping, I've already thinned the herd sufficiently enough. It also helps if you can identify chokepoints where they'll have to come at you from only one direction and not easily outflank you.
I think I'm the only one who likes Crysis 2 and hates Original Crysis.

I wouldn't say I hate the original Crysis, but I definitely like Crysis 2 a whole lot more.

Also, if you're cloaked and you kill a guy which alerts the KPA, start moving/re-cloak to another position behind the enemies. Then pick one or two off and move again. It's also cool that if you're sneaking you can shoot a barrel to set off an explosion to attract the enemies so you can sneak passed.

They dont look real.I mean, they look more like paintings, and not a game.Highly doubt if C3 will actually look like that.
Nevertheless,it doesn't look good and the gameplay will definitely suck.
[QUOTE="Wasdie"][QUOTE="04dcarraher"]Please... your caught up the hype and bullshots. Wait until the game actually releases and see all the medicore detail and design flaws from the game. You praised Crysis 2 the same way, and it wasnt that great.

Crysis 2 was a beautiful game even at launch. Though the levels were hit and miss. Some of the night time levels in time square had the best lighting I've ever seen in a video game.
Crysis 2 had far more detail than Crysis 1 and far better lighting.
Crysis 2 had better lighting yes but detail.... I dont think soCrysis 2 had far more texture work, what's so hard to understand? Detail =/= grainy normal map over a repeating texture.
