Brand new Zelda Skyward Sword screenshots!!!

The artstyle is really bad! No surprise at all, this has been the case for Zelda since OoT

I am hyped for this game. :)

At the risk of turning this thread into a screenshot war, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that chances are, you guys haven't played the ps2 in a loooong while.

Saying that SS looks that bad is simply asinine.

Artistic graphics is all about personal preference. No matter how incredible a person A would find SS to be artistically, he can't deny the fact that the game looks extremely dated compared to the rest of the games being released in the same quarter.

same could be said about every single ps3 game as well as every single xbox 360 game. They wouldve been totally different games on the PC, so much different that you wouldn't even recognize them.

So obviously, Nintendo has captured you with their art**** But that is just you. They don't push the game forward to show what Wii games are capable of technically, though. So the fact that their graphical coders are bad, is saying a lot about Nintendo's capabilities to create a video game.

I'd be fine with that because the game is very attractive. The art design is awesome.

Man, the Art Style is just impressive, so full of color, very charming, very appealing and it seems that it will have a huge variety of settings, this game just keeps getting better and better, i can't wait to get lost in this beautiful world.

Are you telling me that they don't know how to make a Video Game? and yet they have delivered some of the best games this gen (and let me remind you that one got a perfect score and the other got a GOTY award here in GS), in other words, if the game its good, it could look like Pong and it wouldn't matter.

I might look pass the motion sensing controls (which i despise), suck it up and pick this up along with a Wii, maybe.

I just love the Zelda series.

I don't think anyone in this thread has played a PS2 game recently. Games never look as good as you remember them looking. This looks way better than a PS2 game. I think it looks really good honestly. Should look great on my HD CRT (the best way to play an SD console)

I love Zelda games... this will be a fun game, no doubt, but the graphics are pretty terrible. Still, better than nothing.

Very nice, this is without a doubt my most anticipated game of the season and will be one of my few purchases.

At first I was a bit worried about the art, thought it looked a bit half-baked and washed out. But now I can really see where they are going with the art, the backgrounds truly look like paintings.

Looks like they were inspired alot by Super Mario Galaxy.
