A majority of the countries the Xboxone is available too can't use the TV features. Removing it would be a wise choice. NEWMAHAY

One step away. Next week they'll be announcing $399 bundle without Kinect. :lol:

Pre-sales must have been REALLY one sided for them to make all these changes. Lets be honest, that's the only reason they would have backed down from all of this.

At $399 they will be on equal terms though (except for hardware power). So this holiday should be really interesting if that happens... MS might figure they will sell out either way though, especially if they have "low yields" on certain components. They might be producing less units. In theory, keeping price at $499 makes sense if you know you're not going to be able to meet demand anyway.

What are you talking about? Kinect is still required.

That would be golden if they did, have it removed and lower the price. That would really get a next gen battle going :D

No that wouldn't be good. Forcing people to pay an extra $100-150 for a camera they don't want is bad.

doesnt matter, US is all they need. They will win for sure if they do this, pricepoint is killing them, but they have the better games, titanfall will outshine anything they have, and they have XBL which right now is heads and shoulders the network you wanna be on. So yeah they do this, they will pace alot better in the US. This and then the subsidizes come in and console is off to a decent start considering all they were up against at one time.

Having it optional would make it even more gimmicky.If it's mandatory and devs know everyone will be using it we could see some innovation.
