PS4 has well over a million preorders. Killzone has more preorders than the entire Xbone lineup. The price is a huge advantage and will keep sales going strong into next year and beyond.

You misunderstood me. Yes it is a niche group, did not say it wasn't. What I said is more people would be actively listening to a dedicated game conference, than actively listening to a twitter feed or whatever it was that announced the release date. Of course the press then spreads the news, but this happens for both.

Mah Day One will be delivered directly to my office that Friday and the moment I sign for it I'm leaving for home, off to unbox it & set it all up. :D

I'm quite surprised... I expected MS to use Sony's announcing first against them and launch 1 week ahead. I guess in the grand scheme of things... launching 1 week before or after really isn't going to make much of a difference at all.

Although some sales accredited to the PS4 will be due to people not wanting to wait a week for the XB1 they were planning to get, then realizing they can't afford the XB1 right away. But those #'s I would imagine to be in the 1000s not hundreds of thousands.

Anyway, nice to finally know. LET THE WAR COMMENCE!!!!!

And here goes MS last chance to flip the table.
