What point did I miss? You said you have to have the Internet to play offline. Ok that's known. You and every other cow on this forum is here daily complaining about needing Internet to check in with the One. An Internet forum on which you need to get online to use. All Sony fan boys have Internet anyways because last gen they all gloated PSN was free. Realistically the check in is not a big deal. So without internet (something you are forced to get if you don't have and want to play), you can't play your system. You and I having internet is irrelevant. Fact is, no internet, no X1 game play. Hey if you lose your job the last thing you are going to be doing is cutting your internet off, enough with that, grasping for straws. The first you are going to do is sure as shit not game. Really, if you want to bash it, bash it with some common sense instead of grasping for the most ridiculous situations. If you lose your job you are looking for one immediately, not dicking around on a game console. People have been going all over place with the situations in which you can't play XBOX ONE.

I have never denied that if you do not have an ISP that you aren't out of luck. You are. I am willing to bet if you do not have an ISP for whatever reason you will have some form of doing it offline as an option. Whether that is by a cell or by using a disc to authenticate it. If they do not have that feature I will concede they screwed up. If someone can not afford Internet they probably shouldn't be spending money on a $400 + video game system. Video games are a luxury not a necessity. If you can not afford an ISP due to hardship you shouldn't be buying video games.
