Can't even play singleplayer for free on X1.

Not sure about the rest of you but for me personally the internet has other uses besides activating Xbox games.

Amazingly I made the decision to purchase and pay for internet many many days before the xbox one was announced.

I've been playing on PC for ages too and without internet I wouldn't be able to buy, download games/patches. I wouldn't be able to play. You said before you have no internet so that was BS since you now say you're a hermit.

But you didn't have to connect every single day just to keep playing.  A one time thing isn't so bad, but every day?  Once a month wouldn't that either (but again I think disc authentication should be done in case the internet is down).

That kind of goes along the lines of using the electricity for other things besides just for gaming.  Although with electricity you can make your own with a generator, not so much you can do if your ISP is unreachable or down (or the MS servers are down).  So my problem isn't having to pay for the internet but that if there is an issue with it there probably isn't jack you can do to fix it.

Anyone notice how the same 3 Xbox One apologists show up in every thread?  It's Mems, RROD360 and KingTito showing up in every thread making up excuses, often times lies, as to why the Xbox one doesn't suck.  It's pretty funny.  Even LoosingEnds has jumped off ship at this point.

Good point, I have done that before (used my phone as a hot spot), but is only one third of the issue.  Also data plans are typically much smaller than through your main ISP (like I only have 1GB).  If the MS servers are hosed or unreachable (not necessarily because you don't have internet) your machine is bricked.  Just the prospect of that makes me very hesitant to support MS.

I don't really care which system you get, I already told my wife i'll be getting a PS4. Perhaps an Xbox later on down the road but that's undecided. I have and always played a majority of my games on the PC though so we'll see what happens.

BTW I'm not a lem since I've owned all consoles and only game on my PC for the most part since I don't own a single console game. You don't see me creating threads backing up MS or bashing Sony unlike your bashing threads.
