LOL, what physics are yall talking about in Crysis. Believe me the jungles are gorgeous, but the lighting really looks old now after playing KZ2. The animations in Crysis look like any other pc game, which doesn't say much for it. And then the special effects such as particle effects and so on looks very dull and limited compared to KZ2. I mean explosions look like there a image that is overlapped over the original image, definitely don't look like their part of the games graphics at all.
So to me in the end Crysis wins just because of the resolution you can play it at, size of the levels and its jungle vegetation. But Special effects (particle effects), action on screen, enemy AI, Lighting, weather effects and animations KZ2 wins.
If talking about physics I really didn't see anything in Crysis that made me say wow, so in that case I would give physics to KZ2 aswell. The weather effects, wind blowing, sand blowing, smoke blowing with the direction of the wind, grenades getting blown in the air by the wind making you to use kentucky windage. So if anything KZ2 showed off more physics than what Crysis did. But I am also talking about retail copy of Crysis aswell.
Also crysis has some bad textures aswell just like all games. And actually it has quite a bit of bad textures and the ones that just smack you in the face with them not even trying to hide them lol.
P.S. Resolution does not add content, it just makes things sharper and crispier looking. So no matter the res. you run it at Crysis is not going to have those particle effects, action on screen visuals, just the feeling of a living breathing world.
congradulations on the most misinformed and idiotic post in system wars history.
when KZ2 gets destructable enviroments like Crysis has, than come back and post again.
Oh you talking about the plywood walls that I can disassemble with a shot gun, but with a stationary .50 cal no damage at all lol. Or the trees that I can cut down with a mounted gun and they fall flat with no bounce or any kind of physics at all to them lol. Guys like some of us that make KZ2 out to be the next coming, its just as bad to hear that Crysis is the 2nd coming aswell lol. I played and beat Crysis the week prior to KZ2 coming out, it was the week I got my new pc and it was the first game I played on it. Which it was very impressive to say the least, but now after playing KZ2 and replaying levels in crysis I definitly see where crysis falls short at. Sorry that yall are to blind to see those but yet want to point out the small details in KZ2 that doesn't hold up, all the while those same things can be said about crysis lol. I also said Crysis wins, but to me its only because of its huge world, which isn't sandbox like some like to say, but definitly huge areas to travel across to say the least. All the while looking stunning. But some of the things as of now in this gen they don't look as good as some would have you to beleive, even would say cheap actually.
