Great guy, might not have agreed with him on everything but that's life. He will be missed in this industry. hope his break isn't forever.

Cliffy B is awesome. If he wants to go on a break more power to him. I'm interested to see what he does when he's back. The Gears of War series is something I would call a Honeymoon series, and I would argue his last truly great game was Unreal 2k4, but all that sh1t aside he makes honest to god attempts to take his games to the next level. Usually missing on the execution here and there. With the stuff he's said in interviews the past year I'm really interested to see what he will come up with next.

Then Cliffy proceded to declare UT dead because people didn't want to buy a inferior product. But he does have his immense love for Gears of War and forgot his PC roots that made him big.
