Lmao, "thousands of people". I don't think you realize how poor that is compared to the console versions. :D

DangerousLiquid

I believe COD is the most played game in xbox live. but as for PSN, no, I saw somewhere it was either KZ3 or UC2. COD is really strong for xbox, because the xbox versions are usually superior in front of the PS3 version

You couldn't be more wrong... CoD is insanely popular on the PS3, too. And the best-selling franchise there (as well as on 360).

Actually, I was wrong. the most played game in PSN is socom confrontation. sales does not mean its the most played game online, not every person of the millions who bought cod for the PS3 plays it anymore, and even those who keep playing doesnt necessarily play online. you present no facts, you are just a fanboy.

Hey everyone. Stop playing COD. Switch to Battlefield. That would be fun to see COD die. Cloud_765
One of the best things you said on here.

I really doubt there are at least 400k people on socom at any given time. I know black ops has this amount because it tells you how many people are on when you play.

No, COD is not the most played game on PSN, it is probably Killzone 3 atm. Just face it, 90% players of COD are either 12 year olds or casual players. Games like Battlefield, Counterstrike have more hardcore players.

[QUOTE="shahilsyed"] No you're BORING. Battlefield is not boring. You're just a plain fanboy which clearly you have not got a clue on what you're talking about. Also read my long reply. Couldn't believe how you think Bad company is the same series as battlefield. I suspect you being a 12 year old ignorant cock sucking piece of crap.

shahilsyed

Bad Company or not, made by the same DEV, PLAYS THE SAME, and is boring (at least me and 30 million others think so).

If you want to play BF, then go and do so. But it's simply an extremely BORING game, which is based on camping and nothing else. If you suck at CoD, and have your grandma's reflexes, go play BF.

Seriously, How old are you? Call of duty 2 and MW2 are developed by same companies but they play extremely different. Bad company was made for 'consoles' and Battlefield is made for PC gamers. I don't suck at COD, My K/D ratio is 2.21 on COD. Battlefield is not about camping. Battlefield is about objectives. Camping in Battlefield will get you nowhere but in COD, it will.

Yes, you probably suck, and your reflexes suck, and you got tired of getting nuked, so you switched?

Also, bad news. The consolization of BF3 has impacted the PC version heavily, in a bad way.

And I've camped in BF with a sniper rifle in many bushes and gotten far with it... In CoD, you get nowhere because it's fast-paced.

Why play BF? It's BORING.

We don't play COD because we love Activision or because we hate DICE or EA. We play it because it's so much more entertaining than that sleeping pill called BF. No fanboy love here.

DangerousLiquid

No you're BORING. Battlefield is not boring. You're just a plain fanboy which clearly you have not got a clue on what you're talking about. Also read my long reply. This shows you are just a fanboy who has never played battlefield. or just someone trolling. COD is just mindless killing, no skills required, the one who see the other first is the victor. its extremely unrealistic, the weapons have 0 recoil, even the AK47 which is extremely heavy to fire in real lfie. yet in cod you can go trigger happy and it will barely move a few cm away from the place you were aiming it. Have I had fun with COD? yes, sure I have, because its a fun game, I dont hate it, i just say its lame that they keep recycling the game over and over and that activision is always looking for a new way to scam the customers. Battlefield is about objectives and team play, you cant go solo in battlefield because you'll get killed in no time, it rewards team action, it feature full control of vehicles and class based gameplay (every class with its unique features, unlike cod which is just random class) I dont know where you are getting this "BATTLEFIELD IS JUST ABOUT CAMPING HURRRRRRRR" bs, because camping in battlefield is terrible, even I recognize its frustating, the levels are so huge and open, no camper is safe, not to mention, if you for example go into a house, put yourself in a room with 1 door only, facing the door, hidden, yeah you might say "oh im in the coolest camping spot here" but really all that someone needs to do is fire at the wall from the outside and boom you are dead and the camping spot is destroyed. camping wont get you anywhere in battlefield, but in MW2 it will, MW2 is heavily camper friendly and it rewards the user for camping, they changed that in black ops and thats why I respect treyarch's effort at black ops.

COD on PS3 alone is more popular than the entire BF series on all platforms... Lmao!

Outselling any game doesnt mean anything, please understand not every person who bought the game keeps playing it. I have black ops and mw2 for ps3 and I rarely play it anymore. also, the BF series have sold over 20 million copies, so no, your statement is wrong, cod in ps3 has not outsold the entire bf series

How is the pace related to camping? the only thing that affects camping is the level design, MW2 has camper friendly level designs, BF doesnt.

So you camp in Battlefield? No wonder........ In COD, you must've camped, you probably rack up kills and earn killstreaks to dominate games. In battlefield, there is none of that crap. In battlefield, you must've camped and you didnt get rewarded like in COD. Consolization hasnt really affected anything as far I know.

You do realize most people who buy COD are either 12 year olds or casual players. On the other hand, battlefield has core gamers. There is a difference. 95% people who buy COD are 12 year olds or casual gamers, 5% are core gamers. For battlefield, it's opposite. Casual gamers and 12 year olds prefer COD because its 'EASY' to play and get into.

Didn't DICE themselves state, that a computer that will run BF3@Max Settings is simply not available on the market yet?

I pity those fools buying a £2000 computer just to play BF3, when they find out...

i prefer call of duty's guns, class customization, party managment system, controls, single palyer campaign and infantry-focus

i prefer battlefield's scale, number of players, cla ss diversity, and maps

which is why I have both, as should any FPS fan.
if I had to choose just one, it would be call of duty, it just wins the fun category.

Battlefield Bad company had a very good campaign. Battlefield was never meant for the campaign. It was always a multiplayers and always will. I'll admit one thing though, Call of duty campaigns are very good, they have solid stories.

Ehm...bad company...both 1 and 2, the first one even has a "final boss battle" the second one was extremely intense, but ofc you dont know this because you have never played battlefield. BC2 had a great plot, great characters, it was lenghty, had plenty of weapons and was intense. and it was not a list of cliches taken from a tom clancy's novel.

OK. Look if you like BF... so be it. I for one now that me and millions of others hate it because it is BORING to play.

Would you stare in a wall for 5 hours straight? No? Because it tires you out. This is exactly how we feel when we play BF.

But if you like BF... you can go and play it with the rest of the 5000 people gaming it, while I enjoy superior entertainment together with 30 million people around the world.
