They're also good for MMOs/flight sims/point-and-click adventure/RPGs (DA:O as an example).

Both the Xbox 360 controller and mouse-and-keyboard control schemes work very well, though the latter occasionally demands a bit more dexterity to perform certain actions.

So... My PC games still look better, perform better, are cheaper, modable, larger scale, more feature rich, etc... than console games. As for mouse and keyboard, it is better for shooters, RTS, RPGs and others because the mouse is faster and more accurate than anolog sticks and the keyboard has a ton more keys to fully customize the user's experience. Also, if you don't like m&kb, then use any device you want. The PC experience offers more customization in all aspects. Deal with it dude. Enjoy your console if you want, I have a PS3 and Wii for their exclusives, but they just are not better than PCs for gaming.

The point is that when i play a game at "2560x1440, max settings, 60fps" you play it with "1280x720, low settings, 25-30fps" (and some times with 1024x600) therefore your argument is just stupid (or maybe you are just trolling not sure) .

For a machine not designed for gaming, it sure does do it better than the machines built for gaming. Better framerate, higher resolution, user created content, and the option to choose which type of controller to use for most games makes it PC>>>Consoles.

What consoles game offers over all of this is, being able to have fun with people in the same room, on the SAME screen.

Consoles are portable they can be brought on the go.

The graphics are fine on them considering the cost.

FPS are not better on the PC, nobody even uses mics on the PC lol.

Consoles provide the superior experience you are just too blind to see it.

It's easy to understand consoles were DESIGNED for gaming, PCs were NOT. Therefore consoles are a better gaming device.

Yet less and less games are offering splitscreen and consoles copied pc with multiplayer this gen

Apparently you never heard of Micro/mini Atx form factor and the fact that there are cases almost as small as a console. Also apparently you never heard of Laptops

Graphics like you said are just fine. If you want great graphics you go pc and you dont even have to spend to much ( a $600 pc can get you vastly superior graphics)

Fps are better on pc for multiple reasons ( M+KB and if you want the choice of a gamepad ) and 60fps which is almost a must on fast paced fps games

Not using mics on videogames is a plus. Nobody wants a 12 year old Zlychop screaming on his/her ear while playing
