At least that's what the leaders of Hewlett-Packard are claiming. In an article published from Games Radar on April 5th, Lars Butler said "I believe the days of the console are numbered". He also said that the gaming potential of PCs could render consoles obsolete. Could this be a twist in the whole "PC is dying" claim from the past 7 years?
Roy Taylor, vice president of Nvidia, also painted a "rosy future" for the mouse and keyboard side of gaming; claiming that "Our advantages as developers is what we know is coming." "And what is coming is far ahead of the console. You will see a huge difference between what you can get on a PC and a console."
HP plans to roll out a new line of gaming gear later this year including a curved computer display designed to immerse players in the action.
