Console gaming rules, why are PC fanboys hating on it?

As an ownder of a Gaming PC with 24GB of RAM, an i7 @ 3.4 GHz, and a GTX 670, I can honestly say that PC Gaming is overrated, and my console gaming setup is vastly more fun and gets more use.

I have also noticed that he keeps on bashing PC gaming yet these specs are different from some he posted a few weeks ago meaning he bought a new one... with 24GB of RAM :roll:

I agree with you, we probably have better pcs than most here, yet we are the ignorant ones.

1. PC can use that 50" HDTV, surround sound, controller, and SOFA. Hell, it can actually use them better as it has true 1080p. But these being superior to an office chair and 24-30" monitor and kb/m are opinions. People like the larger fov and detail that being up close to a monitor brings, as well as it being THE tool for the most competative forms of gaming.

2. PC has more games and exclusives, every gen. It simply has the most playable items. bar none.

3. PC has the best gfx and performance, every gen. Goes without explanation.

4. PC has the best version of nearly every multiplat, every gen. Goes without explanation.

6. Random facts: It has the most players, most genres, most options (mods/3rd party/etc.), most indy titles, etc.

Yep, that's about it. There really isn't too much else worth my time here, I was excited* for hawken and mechwarrior but both of those did not live up to my expectations, so there really isn't too much left.

I agree. If I thought PC gaming was overrated and I was better of with a console, I'd consider the money spent on the PC as sunk cost. I'd cut my losses and not spend another dime on it.

I also remember him wanting a quiet PC which was the main reason for him wanting a new video card. If I really wanted a quiet PC and not game on it, I would've just taken out the video card and used the Intel graphics....that's how I'd approach it.

it's not uncommon for console fanboys that want to get into PC gaming spend 1k+ on a rig before researching any games. Once they see that all of those titles that they see PC gamers talking about don't intrest them they end up either only using it for muitplatform games...or contuine buying muitplaform games for consoles while taking out all of that pent of anger for wasting all that money out on the PC gamers that told such terrible lies :roll:
