I have KZ3. I'd have to say no. It doesn't look better than Crysis on the PC.....especially when I'm viewing both from the same screen. It certainly doesn't look better than Crysis 2 with DX11.

I like the shadows in vanilla Crysis. They're darker when the air is relatively particle-free and lighter when there are aerosols such as smoke suspended in the air.

There's a lot of disparity in Crysis image quality because Gamma, Contrast, and Saturation can all be adjusted by the player. That's in addition to the Advanced Graphics Options.

Personally, I like the colors of vanilla Crysis the best:

That depends on what you're viewing the games with. I'm viewing both PS3 games and PC games on the same 24" 1080p TV sitting on my desk. The console visual defiencies still stand out. Would they bother me in the end? Probably not.

I can sit 15 feet away from my TV, and the image I see is bigger than a credit-card sized shot on a forum. And if you're actually talking about the downscaling that's done in bullshots, then, no, you're simply wrong (as usual). No matter how far away you are from the screen, a game doesn't get downscaled in real time. Anyone who's actually sat in front of a TV and played a game knows this.

Look at your thread title again. You said "technical level" yet you have no fvcking clue what that must mean and just said it for the sake of saying it. On a technical level those RTS shots blow away any of the other games even some of the other really good PC shots like the Metro ones (which if you think are pre-rendered then there's something wrong with you) the amount of stuff going on in an RTS game and to look that good is crazy technical.

Also the shots you posted are extremely small, find proper resolution shots and we'll talk. That and TLOU shot at the bottom is a bullshot. It is a PR shot from Naughty Dog, who notoriously use bullshots

So glad someone is using Metro in these arguements and not Crysis. Crysis to me doesn't look all that good anymore, so many games look better now.

And yes Metro Last light will demolish other games visually. It's my most hyped game coming out :D
