Could Gamespot possibly give out 2 10s in 2 months?

Xbox 360 version was the lead dev kit. The ps3 version is not as bright or vibrant with the colors and the aliasing issues which plagued both consoles in previous test units (more so on the 360 version though) have been completely eliminated at this point, so the only difference is the ps3s lessened level of color and brightness. Considering the ps3 version has been consistantly behind the 360 version, it may have a few more glitches as well. It'll be a 9.6, 9.5 thing

In that case, the burnout paradise for 360 should have gotten a lower score. It was confirmed through numerous comparisons on ign. No, Im not going to get you a link; go on youtube and search up ps3 vs 360 comparison of burnout paradise ign...Im just saying that, that thinking is flawed. They are basically the same aside from dlc and that goes along with every game. I predict mgs will get 9.0 and gta will be 9.5(despite it being a rehash >.>)

Mgs4 would be lucky to get an 8. As for GTA4 I really doubt it.

I know it's a longshot, but I really think that both GTA IV and MGS4 are both worthy of the AAAA hype, and may very well live up to it. Gamespot hasn't given out a 10 in quite some time, but these 2 games are looking as close to flawless as it gets. Given the track record of Rockstar North and Kojima Productions for delivering top notch gameplay with stories to match, I think it's very possible. What say you? :|

While I can see your pont, I think its maybe excitement talking. The only game I would personally think has AAAA potential is Spore, siomply because its the game Will Wrights has been wanting to make his whole career, and we know he will put his heart and soul into it.

A risk? No way. This one is easy, it is very clear that MGS4 will not get a 10. I guessing 9.0-9.5, but NOT a 10. Gamespot won't be giving away their next 10 in a while. You know why it won't get a 10? Because it is nothing "new". Games that get a 10 are games that are new, that are awesome, great, amazing, innovative.

Trust me, it won't get a 10.

The only game that is close to getting a 10 is Spore... Star Craft 2 and GTA IV have a better chance of getting a 10 than MGS.

Neither game has a chance. The GTA games tend to be pretty glitchy due to the sheer size of the game and MGS4's story will be too convoluted. Despite renaming 10 "prime" GS still demands perfection in order to give out a 10, and judging by their pedigree neither game will be perfect.PBSnipes
