I think ppl need to realise that these gfx at highest settings are beyond a standard 8800gts, i doubt its the optimization thats hte issue but the fact the game is just far to demanding for current cards.

Yeah it does. Lot of people have been reporting it.

Use the Xtreme G 163.75 drivers. Those work the best for me. Works much better than the crappy beta drivers Nvidia released.

Most people that play PC games can't play it on max settings..

A huge chunk of PC gamers wont even be able to play the game on medium settings..

so basically.. for most people.. this game looks no better than a great looking Xbox 360 game..

Crysis is NOT overrated, its a fantastic game and the only reason you silly console fans hate on it is BECAUSE YOU HAVNT PLAYED IT!! Crysis looks awesome on high settings.

difference b/w far cry and crysis is much more than almost any other FPS in recent times likehalo 3, bioshock, ut3, COD 4 etc
