Did anyone read the posted link.....these are not during gameplay...
These are pics and only that it seems....
Title of the Thread is: How to take the BEST realistic Crysis photos screenshots
Ive tried this in the actual game but the shots get messed up so i recommend you guys do this in the editor.
when in the editor fly around and find a really nice area first and then spawn into it using ctrl+G now that your there bring down the console and type these commands
e_screenshot_width 3200
e_screenshot_height 2400
Now of course i use this because its double 1600 by 1200 which is a 4:3 aspect ratio, if your running in widescreen find out what your highest widescreen resolution is and then double those numbers and use them instead.
you can also use e_screenshot_filetype and select which format you want to use i.e JPG, TGA, BMP etc, i prefere TGA myself since its good quality.
then once you want to take a shot simply type
e_screenshot 1
and it will take the shot minus the HUD.
you should find you shots within the crysis folder under game/screenshots/highres
hope that helps!

the shots are in the editor, which has the same graphics as the actual game...you can even jump right into gameplay from the editor with the click of one button...they do it in the editor to better adjust lighting and stuff....and its a lot easier to find a good screenshot through that.
MY EYES!!!!!! MY EYES!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY BURN, THEY BURN!!!!!!!!
man was not supposed to meddle in the affairs of the god!
ps: i love how its not all bloomy like every goddamn "next" gen game out there

Mike they are in game buddy they just aren't playable on any computer out now..... and other then the resolution I reckon their are plenty of computers that can handle the tweaked HDR, Draw distance and other things.

at a blazing 15-20 fps on a decent to high end rig.
can't wait until the geforce 9 series :DMystery_Writer
is that coming out this year?
No the 8800GT which uses the G92 is Nvidia's big thing this year, it's basically an 8800GTX for 200 to 250 dollars, though the high demand has pushed it's current asking price to 300 this will go down drastically once supply ramps over the next month or so.
Good for you. But I think it is for people with lower rigs than what you have to have a chance to get better visuals.whats so special? thats what i play with
its called very high people

Btw how is that SLI 320mb cards working.. Been thinking of going SLI and buying another evga 8800 GTS superclock 320mb.. or just getting a 8800 GT instead.. How do the cards stack up against crysis?
And how many FPS does that run at on an 8800GTX?InsaneBasura
That's not the point of this thread. The point is that Crysis is going to be the best looking game for a couple of years. When Nvidia releases the 9 series cards early next year, they should be able to run it like that.

Can you link the "early next year" part?
Now if they could just find a way to enhance the part after the
aliens
come into the picture...musicalmac

Look it up yourself. There's been rumors. Rumor is that it's going to be released sometime in Q1 or Q2 next year.......

Well the thing is that ive actually tried myself but there really havent yet found a source from Nvidia itself saying its going to release Q1 or Q2 next year. Rumors is all I get and Nvidia themselves has been quiet with the 9x series ever since they announced it. Right now im super skeptical with this Nvidia 9X hype.
