The Halo series has pretty good multiplayer. I especially believe that these games were hyped so much that reviewers didn't see many of the flaws until after playing for a long while. This has happened to me. I play some games i am so hyped about that i tend to forget it has flaws. Only to hate the game 6 months later for the flaws. This is why i believe the Halo series has gotten so many good scores even though the game as a whole isn't so good.

Now compare that to the current console shooters like RSV, GRAW 1 & 2, Halo, Resistence, etc...

i think you hermits are jumping the gun. I'm one of you, who recently got back into the consoles after a LONGGGGG hiatus. 360 is the first console i have owned since SNES. I have played almost every notable shooter there is on PC. I'm NOT disagreeing, but to say that console shooters are 5-6 years behind is just ignorant. I'd say more like 2-3 years behind tops.
